elemental sulfur is easy to get. it's sold in small quantities in hardware stores (canadian tire) for the garden, and i have bought 50 pound sacks for my garden from a farm supply store about 20km from me (i live inside of a large city). the soil in my local area is short on sulfur and alkaline.
