but there shouldnt have been T-54s either, so who knows
I’ve heard that they actually had to import the T-34 they used in the victory parade last year from Cambodia because they no longer have any functioning ones of their own. I hope we at least get to see some SU-100s, they at least use the same gun as the T-54. I also hope the Ukrainians actually deploy the M114 howitzers they’ve been getting. They’ve been using the M101A1s so I don’t see why they haven’t been using the M114s already.

now they want the t-34s back because of le symbolism, so they go to the countries still fielding the ancient tanks and offer to trade more modern tanks for them
they still had T-34s on their catalogue as late as the 1980s
they probably would have never seen real combat, just assigned to reserve units for the sake of calling them armored, but they did at least exist
they didnt fully get rid of them until the 90s, when the soviet union collapsed and it was a free for all to sell all that old stock

The 54-55's would be pretty scarce to begin with, a lot of them got pulled down for parts during the 90's for sale to thirdies that needed bits

The only one I could clearly make out was the older one, it had the plate mounted across the glacis to deflect fragments and stuff on it. No ERA or anything
