    Will we ever see T-34s?

ordinarily, we would say they dont have anymore of them
but there shouldnt have been T-54s either, so who knows

I’ve heard that they actually had to import the T-34 they used in the victory parade last year from Cambodia because they no longer have any functioning ones of their own. I hope we at least get to see some SU-100s, they at least use the same gun as the T-54. I also hope the Ukrainians actually deploy the M114 howitzers they’ve been getting. They’ve been using the M101A1s so I don’t see why they haven’t been using the M114s already.

I will be immensely sad if it's the same T34 again this year

iirc the ussr sold them or gave them away to help comrades abroad in their jihad against capitalist pigs
now they want the t-34s back because of le symbolism, so they go to the countries still fielding the ancient tanks and offer to trade more modern tanks for them

they still had T-34s on their catalogue as late as the 1980s
they probably would have never seen real combat, just assigned to reserve units for the sake of calling them armored, but they did at least exist

they didnt fully get rid of them until the 90s, when the soviet union collapsed and it was a free for all to sell all that old stock

I'm kind of curious what will they parade in May again. They wouldn't just go for the same T-34 like last year, right?

I'm almost positive that monke will redirect at least one battalion of T-62M obr. 2024 for the sake of the banan parade just to try and show the world Puccia isn't pathetic but still stronk

unironically, if they put golf carts into their parade, I'll probably die of laughing.

I think they'll try and parade around the wrecks of what few western vehicles they could scavenge from the battlefield instead.

The oldest stuff that's shown up so far has been BTR-50s, right?

I didn't see any, seemed to be 62's and 72's from what little was photographed
The 54-55's would be pretty scarce to begin with, a lot of them got pulled down for parts during the 90's for sale to thirdies that needed bits

Were the T-62s the Obr 2022s or were they the unupgraded versions?

The only one I could clearly make out was the older one, it had the plate mounted across the glacis to deflect fragments and stuff on it. No ERA or anything

            It had a cope cage!
It wasn't a very good photo, I could only really make out the front of the T-62 so couldn't say for sure

they built almost 30,000 T-34s in the post-war era alone and they still ended up having not enough for a parade

        >No. built 1,823

they all got converted or scrapped i think
