I just bought 140 rounds of Lehigh #2 phillips head bullets in .50 African Eliminator for like $250. Hornady Critical defense .50 can be found for sub $2.75/round as well. I used to buy it for $1.35/round until covid fricked everything up.

After my grandpa passed away, I found his old California CCW permit in his belongings. I guess in Commiefornia you have to list the handguns you carry on the permit. Listed on his were a Beretta .25acp pistol and a .22lr NAA mini revolver. He also had a Röhm .22lr revolver, literally one of the shittiest firearms ever made, although wisely it wasn’t listed on his carry permit.
He kept that beretta pistol well into his 90s, he even kept it with him in the assisted living home until his dementia got bad and my uncle confiscated it. My uncle took possession of his guns, and then went out and bought an Sig Sauer Mosquito so I guess my family just has terrible taste.

Even hough it's only a .22mag it is absurdly loud with huge muze blast because there's basically about 1/2" of bore after the chamber. tbh at night it'd be a decent flashbang; only problem is it misfires about a third of the time

I think they’re cool, however they are also comically large, even for my relatively big hands, and I’d look stupid holding one.
Oh they're range toys for sure, but they're fun range toys. Mechanically interesting too, as the operating system is basically a miniaturized AR15 operating system. Motherfricking gas operated rotating bolt, in pistol form.
I have tiny hands for a 6 footer (S-M glove size), but could still comfortably shoot my 1st gen .44mag one-handed even before I got into grip strength training.
Why didn't they make barrels and bolts for .45 Win. Mag. and .30 Carbine?

I love deagle more than I thought I would. .50 AE is a great range toy, ability to swap out barrels and bolts quickly makes it easy to change calibers at the range.
.44 magnum barrel on it is nearly perfect recoil wise without any porting or anything, with great capacity.
Conceal carrying the .357 barreled deagle with 9+1 with an extra mag in my pocket is great. In .357 there is practically no recoil. The .44 and .357 version are also good alternatives to rifles in some hunting scenarios I've been in that required a lot more hiking. But it's arguable

my deagle is the worst thing to CC, just as bad as my mk23, but I feel like I am at my safest with it.
Mine’s fine to carry, though I do have a great, well-made leather shoulder holster that balances it out nicely.
I am using a kydex side holster, sometimes I just put my shirt over it and poorly cc, but tbh no one is ever gonna frick with a dude about carrying a deagle, especially not the onions eaters at the manga section in b&n
