In a stressful situation with little light, a brilliant green laser is what I'd prefer.

At what price point do the returns on functionality in a 1911 diminish over a comparatively cheaper model? I imagine the fit and finish on a Wilson Combat, Dan Wesson, etc. is much better than you'd get in a stock mass produced pistol like a Colt, but how much of that extra money you're paying really goes towards improving the shootability and accuracy vs the brand name?

the only thing you get that is worth the extra price with Wilson is the accuracy guarantee. otherwise get a colt/ruger/springfield/SIG
