Why would they love both? India and Russia have always been de-facto allies, India and China weren't. USSR wasn't allied with China either but did go to war in 1969 in the Russian Far East, fought a proxy war in 1979 in Vietnam, were on opposite sides in 1971 in Bangladesh and almost came to direct blows over that too
India ignores Russia defense business with China while Russia ignores India's with the US. India had cool relations with China between much of the 2000s and 2010s and many Hindutvas praised the CCP's oppression and genocides of minorities, and even blamed Muslims for starting COVID.
