now these are possibly useful cages to stop various drone dropped munitions
compare to the original which had shamanistic hope to stop top attack HEAT warheads (hence the cope)
What if the cope cages' true purpose is to shred any remains of the crew that might get propelled out of their blazing wreck at high velocity in such a way that identification will be made extra impossible and spare the state compensation for the families? (Filthy traitors went AWOL)
Wouldn't need to do that, the average Puccian tank explodes in such an enormous fireball there probably isn't anything left after explosive disintegration.
>"cope cage"
Given all we've seen I'd rather have it on my vehicle than not. Gives some protection against FPVs and ATGMs. Really, it'd be even better if the 'cage' could extend way out like 2 meters or more from the vehicles hull, doesn't seem impossible and would provide much better protection especially against drones without the speed to penetrate light shell armour.
Everything earlier than a T-90, which is everything nowadays, when hit by a drone kills everyone inside the tank from what I have seen, so this doesn't seem like a bad idea.
Can the tank even level its gun?
Like the cage that covers the front of the turret has a pipe under the gun and it does not look like it is conected to a hinge so, it may be restricting the gun depression.
>Like the cage that covers the front of the turret has a pipe under the gun
I think it's bad perspective, what you see as pipe under the gun is actually behind the gun connecting cope cage with turret
Once the T-14s start rolling to the front they will no longer need to do this. A T-14 has been confirmed and validated to be unkillable by modern anti-tank weapons.
This isn't your average every day copecage. This is advanced copecage

So what will be of those cope cages once those EFP warheads for FPV drones go into mass production?
>EFP warheads for FPV drones
my dude...
Is that not an ordinary HEAT warhead?
What do you think EFP stands for, exactly?
Explosive, fiery penetrator
Yes, that's it exactly. Well done.
EFP is used to refer to warheads using slug-formation, rather than jet-formation (HEAT) to penetrate.
HEAT and EFP aren't the same homosexual
Maximum cope
Copetus Maximus, the bringer of chicken wire, prison of mobiks, and father of futility, we salute you!
How long until we see the max power reveal? The final evolution of the triple copey supreme.

Israel has iron dome, but Russia has Thunder dome!
Two vatniks enter! One vatnik leaves!
More like 3 vatniks enter and 25-40% of each of them leave at high speed in different directions.
>Two vatniks enter! One vatnik leaves!
Or Three vatniks enter! Driver has a very slim chance of making it out alive. The other two are toast.
>2 vatniks enter
>1 vatnik then enters the other vatnik
>Veterancy 3 unit
Its to keep the crew from bailing. You can still pour soup at the from the gaps if they survive long enough to need food.

Jesus, I didn't even see the turret pop or any sign of it next to the tank so how far did it go!?
The turret ends up laying upside down on the chassis. You can see the turret ring sticking up in the air.
it's upside down

No need to escape a tank if you are already dead
are those pig hears?
>Cope Cage - Shady Business
>Cope Cage 2 - Double Trouble

I see now thx
Also the turrent can't rotate 360° because of the rear cage.
Just bring two drones, one for the cage then one for the tank
does that mean the cope cage actually works?
How should I know
Once the T-14s start rolling to the front they will no longer need to do this. A T-14 has been confirmed and validated to be unkillable by modern anti-tank weapons.
Not a bad cope cage actually, could definitely prevent an FPV drone from hitting the turret.
Fricking Drone and Javelins have ruin armor combat...
>FOREVER
Yeah, it seems like until tanks get Paladin tier defensive sytems we're just stuck with cope cages for now.
What about a Loyalist return-to-sender missile hack?

They've had them for ages.
PROTECTING OUR PEOPLE
IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO
Damn look at all that, would be a shame if someone could steer a drone right into the engine bay that's still not covered.
soon the tank will just be ERA inside a hell in the cell cage
I like the Israeli cope nets more.
We did it first. Anti RPG rope cope
