    I loathe pedestal sinks
    >odd angles make cleaning difficult
    >often find them in small bathrooms but they reduce storage space compared to a vanity and have no place to affix a toilet paper holder
    >they usually look out of place with palace-like aesthetics surrounded by drywall and modest tile
    >they’re often wobbly because of shitty installation
    why even bother with them

Why would you put toilet paper on your sink? Are you using your sink as a urinal? I just put mine on the wall next to my toilet since there's where I use 99% of my toilet paper at.

All the gays saying this is just some homeowner trying to get free work have obviously not priced cabinets recently. At a glance a cabinet shop would probably charge around $8000-$10000 for those cabinets and countertops. Maybe more if they are solid wood.

        Anonymous

and you know why they cost that much? it's because they are custom cut for the kitchen and all of that cost goes into labor

Had a client who stiffed us on a $7,500 bill (all due to her numerous revisions and changes after we got her permit for her) while pointing out how great her $100,000 kitchen was. If I were the boss I would have at least dropped a lien on the house or told her to pay 100% of the outstanding balance plus the price for the as-built before even starting to work on it when she requested it. He just refused to do anything that might even involve a whisper of a lawyer's involvement.

Holy frick this guys a fricking homosexual. Even dropped and totally ready for a sawmill these things are hard to give away. Just nobody gives a shit and anyone with a sawmill has a way to get tree guys to drop shit off to them for free. Imagine cutting down trees for free for firewood even lol. Lmao, even.

        Anonymous

I'm dedicating too much time thinking about this post, but if he's so God damn certain he can drop all these fricking trees like it's nothing why doesn't he do that and then see if anyone wants them for free? Then when nobody comes to take free logs he can get the county to take it for free. Which yeah I'm sure the county is gonna spend an entire day cleaning up multiple trees

          Anonymous

Because he's full of shit. He's probably fell trees in the woods but doing it around power lines, houses, and pavement is a whole other ball game. Anyone that comes in there is going to need to cut it up into section from top to bottom. The amount of labor to do that makes the wood worthless to take the tree for "free". The only time you can really sell live timber is if you have acreage with old growth and they can bring in the big equipment and truck's for a clear cut.

Also him being so concerned with his yard is a red flag. Anyone going in there to take those trees will frick his yard up so he's probably going to want free sod out of it. Also no one taking the trees for "free" are going to deal with the stumps left behind and I'm sure he wants those gone too.

It's another "I know what I got" boomer that thinks he can trick young people into pulling their boot straps up and doing hard labor for a $20 bill.

            Anonymous

God that's absolutely infuriating. What made boomers like this? They are the greediest most money hungry people I have ever seen.

I could do it easily but no way that homosexual has the gear or the practice. I preload with winch cable(s) aimed via snatch blocks, cut to holding wood then drive off (the winch cannot spool as fast as driving takes up cable) and tree goes happily to ground.

My WWII Power Wagonbro just bent the frick out of them using his PTO winch then cut them. We did a shitload of trees after Hugo and it was educational fun. Frick relying on hopes and prayers. When you're not an arborist you have time for safe rigging.

To save their house. No tree should shade a house because to do so it threatens the roof. Your mistaken view is common and why boomers spend thousands on arborists. Power is cheap in the US but roofing that's any good is not.

      Anonymous

Because a branch off of that tree is going to annihilate either his or his neighbor's roof during the next Once-in-a-Lifetime (TM) ice storm or hurricane.

I suspect the catch is exactly how "mobile" it is, given it's been sat there long enough for a tree to grow at the hitch end. Certainly not going to be something you can just roll up to and tow off.

Yeah, they weigh like 4-5 tons max. The 1/2 designation is just how much payload the truck itself can handle, not towing capacity.
