Oh. My. Science!!! Is that a mother heckin question? You should use Google, thats what I use all the time. You are obviously underage, because you dont know the first thing about my favorite hobbies! You Sweet, Dear summer child.
this shit just looks fricking moronic as soon as even 5 percent of the rocks inevitably come loose from the surface.
It always looks horrible after a few years as the rocks leave little indentations where they were.
this always inevitably starts looking like crap (as does all concrete) when it starts cracking and yellowing and accumulating brown and black stains and rocks start detaching and washing away.
Concrete is a shitty material which should be kept out of sight and only used for purely structural purposes.

Not the OP but I bought a place and it has a cement bath which is pretty badly cracked at this point. It's a very awkward shape to tile so I figured pebbles or river rocks would be an easier alternative
What other options do I have to make it look not like shit? I don't want to replace the whole thing since it would be a nightmare to do.
I fricking hate this look, whats wrong with a clean flat slab. my dad decided to do this for a sidewalk going around the front of his house and pathways in the backyard. they look terrible, the texture just doesn't look right. anyways his procedure was pour the slab as normal then sprinkle pebbles onto the top as it dried, push them down with a float or some shit.
looks like shite m8 just use regular clean concrete, add some color if you really want to go full reddit and customize your mix
Exposed aggregate look can becachievedxa number of ways-

>What is the procedure for laying concrete with little pebbles on top?
Step 1. Ask Google.
Step 2. Don't come back before you turn 18.

Concrete man here, don't try an exposed mix if you don't know what you are doing, you'll waste thousands and have to tear it out
>yeah nah youll frick it up, just pay me to do it instead :^)
