From a guy I talked to who had a canted FSB from them, they said "As long as you are able to shoot it, it isn't covered under warranty." I had a shitty upper receiver from them too which had an OVAL rear takedown hole and they wouldn't fricking replace it because none of the 4 lowers I tried it on ( which didn't fit ) were Colt branded
>buying a colt ar in the year of our lord 2024
Absolute moron. Colt shut down their AR production lines long ago when the military stopped procuring them en masse. Colt is just an AR assembly shop now like Bushmaster or Windham. That lower was machined by the lowest bidder shittiest machine shop in the entire East Coast. Colt only actually manufactures handguns now, only buy them if you want a Colt.
Buy from a real manufacturer like Daniel Defense or FN next time.
Stupid homosexual they still have gov contracts. You're literally getting the same gun as the military.
>DD
PFHAHAHAHHAHAHA, enjoy getting QC reject dogshit, for only $3000 though! >FN
Can't use gov TDP, probably using a different assembly line for civ sales.
Colt is the only non-dogshit, gov milspec rifle with proper QC using DoD's TDP. Everything else is buyer's remorse turned to cope. Also enjoy blown up barrel after 300 rounds on your $3000 rifle wienersucker.
Frick yourself
>Can't use gov TDP
Holy shit this is either bait or you're absolutely moronic.
You do know Colt lost govt contract because of poor performance and it was picked up by FN right?
big oof, call me when FN barrels meet military standards

Military FN’s don’t use 4140 steel in the barrels. FN still doesn’t own the TDP and cannot legally produce commercial rifles the same way they produce the military ones.

You couldn’t pass the militaries requirements for service, Colt did and still does. FN just does it for cheaper.
You know the rifle in pic related is a colt right? Post 2018 production judging from the cage code, which proves that Colt supplies rifles to the DOD to this day.

I’d even go as far as to bet money that more than a couple FN rifles being issued have colt parts in em. There’s gotta still be millions of colt BCG’s in circulation throughout the armories. No way the DOD bought FN shit to replace the current stock of replacement parts.
Got a “nu-colt” m4 socom about a year ago. It’s got cage codes everywhere, markings and barrel aside the difference between this one and my old colts is indistinguishable. And it’s one of the better shooting rifles I own. Socom profile is breasts, perfectly gassed. Not a single problem with the rifle, finish on mine was pristine when I got it too.
>post a pic nerd
Nah, have a stock image instead
What model is that? Btw and what are those sights?

This one is a Colt m4 socom, they come with Matech buis. They’re decent iron sites but locking mechanism can wear out with abuse (flipping up and down repeatedly like an autist) lube up the friction points to prevent that
they're relevant because they got bought out by CZ and now it looks like the tards who ruined Colt are about to ruin CZ because "fire the entire Colt management staff" wasn't on CZ's to-do list.

For ARs, yeah probably but for everything else no. I straight up bought a Tisas .45 over a Colt because the fit and finish was BETTER. The Python was straight up a let down. One of the only guns I regret buying
How does FN supply the DOD with rifles when they are a Belgian company? They both have a major presence in the U.S. while Colt is owned by CZ now, the company is still a U.S based company, using the same shit they’ve been using for decades. CZ is just there to manage the finances
Yeah.
yeah
They’re relevant to me as long as it takes to get a QC’d 6in Anaconda in my hands and then they can self-destruct or whatever.
yeah
carry handle sights are so cool
True, but your pic looks like dog shit.
True, but your pic looks like awesome sauce.
>awesome sauce
Just don't, please stop.
Just do, please continue.
Have they switched over to CZ yet? How has everything been? I'm slightly curious about wasting way too much money on a Colt pistol.
yeah
Only if you're not buying nuColt
how is that getting out of the factory?

wrong.
Did they misspell hartford the first time forcing them to grind it off and try again?
>Colt
the Gold Standard
I carry .45 because they don't make .46!
I've had this thing for years, it's never jammed. Why people still buy Kimber I will never know.
Kimber looks sexier
Yeah but they're jam-o-matics
Ah but looks are king.
Weeb wood grips? That's a new one on me.
Is that the special 6 layered dried jiz finish on your chinesium grips.

A Colt brand Colt Single Action Army chambered in 45 Colt is still better than the Italian knockoffs.
I forgot they started doin SAAs again after CZ bought them.
What was wrong with your Python?
Boomers will still buy them whatever
Wait.. How does Colt still supply the GOV with their M4s if the entire company is owned by Cezch?
