Doesn't really seem real. For a lawyer he's not great at lying. Just occasionally you can see his mask slip and a thousand yard stare come out. I'm guessing
A. He didn't do nearly as much as was claimed
B. He saw some shit regardless
C. He knows the situation there is beyond fricked
Prob B and C. I was sure he would be dropped earlier. I think he will end up as kia at one point. I dunno why you don't see it as real. What is he supposed to do, cry and b***h like the rest? He was like that right before being sent of too. A lot of comments do point out that he is visibly different. On top of that his priorities changed on just staying alive instead of saving up money.

How is this ironic? I am not defending him or russian stance, just sharing an interesting perspective. If you want to see just one sided b***hning and moaning about billion dead russians this vid and thread is not for you.
No, you're trying to humanize the kacaps. Problem with your strategy is, it never takes too long for them to do something abhorrent and make the world hate them with a passion again.

not op but holy frick boys, even if it is 100% propaganda it's a good idea to watch ALL the sources and make up your mind for yourself. and now you'll call me a vatnik for being skeptical
No, anon, it's generally a real stupid idea to watch every garbage just because someone throws you this kind of turd in your face with no context or additional information. It's like the equivalent of listening to every robocall you get, because it "could" be something good. That this turd only has been posted on /chug/ is already a big red flag. > and now you'll call me a vatnik for being skeptical
You are more what the russians call "shiteater" (their word for their useful idiots in the West).
Why is it garbage? The guy obliviously outlines the questionable money payout system (if you survive for 3 months you get paid), you have to pay for your own gear that would allow you to survive and that you get sent straight to performing frontline duties after 2 months training.
I really don’t get you morons that come and b***h in this thread when clearly it was outlined what it will be about. Don’t want it don’t watch it, I am not trying to sway your opinion stop acting as if I am stuffing this down your throat

Yeah it's funny people don't pick up things like the "two months of training and to frontline" even though russians claimed mobiks were supposed to be logistics helpers etc. and soldiers actual soldiers. I know I know westerners have been making fun of mobiks the whole time but to admit the use of mobiks in combat is pretty.. funny I guess?

>Why is it garbage?
Because it is the useless commentary of a fanboy who reflects maybe 1% of all mobik cases since hardly anyone has the same advantages and probably didnt had the chance to bribe a superior to end up actually getting expanded training or not be sent straight to hell part of the frontline.

So you're an infantryman right? You're part of a platoon you fricking go where the rest of your platoon is, you don't get to fricking choose to just stand around in the middle of nowhere in a field behind the front line or just sit and do nothing next to the cooks in the field kitchen. Oh there it is. The /chug/ mask slipped pretty quick
So, all in all, the guy survived. Cool.
The issue here is that you're going to spend over $5000 USD over tactical gear, weaponry or whatever, but that's not every single Russian. Not every single Russian is a Muscovite lawyer that dresses fancily and smokes Cuban cigars.
That's the entire point of the video honestly. The guy survived, great, cool. However, this is not all the cases in Russia, and if he wasn't paid for three months due to documentation, etc. Can you imagine some normal guy from a small town?
Insanely bizarre video. The guy wearing aviators thinking he's hot shit, when the Russian losses are massively is pretty damn bizarre from him. Not everyone can have a bed like this guy in Russia, and for some reason, he really thinks he's the hottest shit in the planet.
He's not delusional, he's selling a message to the audience.
And even then it is shit. How is that propoganda?
>spend your hard earned war money on gear so you don’t die >not paid until survive first encounters >minimal training

Do you really need a repeat course in basic Soviet propaganda? 9 years into this shitshow? After more than a decade of spam?
There are multiple layers to it, intended to catch as many layers of society as possible. The official government stance presented in the primary media (TV stations and newspapers), the "honest" pro-government voices online and in controlled minor media (e.g. most milbloggers now), the controlled "opposition", the angry "anti-establishment" voices that are tolerated until they get too unruly (e.g. Roizman), the "radicals" that exist to make the government look moderate, reasonable and stable by comparison and the totally independent, absolutely organic everyday normal dude sharing things online that appeal to those distrustful of the government but still easily susceptible to its propaganda. In this last group you might even encounter a lot of doomposting but the message would still end up serving the government. E.g. "Everything is bad, but I went to the front and came back with money." or "Here it is bad, so we went to Norway for money, but in Norway they are pederasts, so we came back to Russia."
A Russian would consider himself an independent thinker who gets his news from multiple alternative sources and still consume nothing but government propaganda.
exactly that is the point man. That is why I am surprised that he can talk about it with rose tinted glasses about getting paid well yet spending this money just to stay alive. Ridiculous.
If they spend 2 months in training and get sent to action after it my bet is that gov is saving money on all the potential first KIAs. If you don't hold out and be alive in 3 months u don't get any gov shekels.
It's definitely very true the issues of the Russian army unable of having proper tactical gear in most cases, then. I just thought they were rare cases, but this just proves to me how true and how massive it is. He mentions that Russia hands the soldiers some basic gear, but the guy straight up ditched these and spent $7000 USD on just tactical gear.
Honestly, this is a massively embarrassing video that goes to show, from a Russian soldier's perspective, how pathetic and heartless this shit is.
Sure, one could be glad he's alive, but even while pro-Russian, he just proved how pathetically bad the current situation is for Russia military-wise.
You can bet he bribed someone to end up in the right place, regular mobiks would probably just beat him up and took his fancy shit. Hell, at the beginning of the war they beat other mobiks up for digging a foxhole so they could take it over.
I have no opinion on the slavic bumfight, but I served for years in the Canadian Forces (light infantry and then training rangers - which are not nearly as cool as the American ones) and I had to buy my own gear all the fricking time. I'm pretty sure only the American armed forces actually issue decent gear. Canadian gear was absolutely dogshit. Had to buy my own boots, plate carrier (the CAF issued carrier is absolutely atrocious), pouches and shit like that.

$7000 is a pretty minimal expenditure for top of the line gear if you buy everything in one go >comtacs or opscore AMP headsets are $800 >opscore or team wendy ballistic helmets are close to $2000 >lightweight level IV plates and side plates will easily run you up $2000+ >7 sets of Crye combat uniforms puts you into the thousands >packs like Mystery Ranch are $500+ >salomon forces are $300

This is so Russian. And this guy is a lawyer too? lol.
Is he moronic?
He def got that tard strength
His dopy moron eyes certainly dont help
https://voca.ro/14zNHxDwryeP
For a lawyer his apartment looks like a shithole hole in the wall.
he is an expert in wood law. not much money in that
Is he one of shoigu’s boys?
He's next in line for Minister of Defense
It's a country without rule of law, so lawyers aren't important
So I'm guessing this guy went nowhere near a frontline and was some rear echelon that never saw combat?
No, I'm not wathcing his video.
watch to vid lmao
>two months of military training
yeah, i'm gonna call bullshit
inb4 it turns out he's the son of someone in the military or some other bullshit

to me it is interesting to hear how they see things.
