Chemically bonding bungee cords

Hello,
I have two bungee cords from which I have removed the end pieces. They are bare cords.
What is the most secure way to connect these to form almost one uninterrupted cord? No metal, ideally no plastic nothing. Ideally a chemical bond.
Really I'm trying to make a loop.

If you're set on chemical bonds you'll also have to accept that it will never be strong. Forget glues, look into solvent welding. Find out what polymers are used in your cord, and get some solvents that will dissolve them, and experiment.

standard bungee cord, looking at Amazon it was "natural latex inside with polyester jacket"
It does not need to be that strong and a human (me) will be carefully stretching it at all times

A good knot, anything less would be weak as hell

A knot would be far better. Do a butterfly knot or something. If you don't want to undo it maybe reef knot.

Maybe this or perhaps this website has the splice for you.

Cyanoacrylate will obviously be fine but you should really buy a single long bungee cord if you need this for anything important

How can it be long if it's a loop

rubbers are often vulcanized, the process turns it into one single molecule you can combine them but making it into a single molecule like you are a custom to is out of my wheel house

there was a nova on rubber and tires might give you a starting point, but it would be like recycling plastic, not worth the energy.

Have you looked into typical mechanical splices?
