I have a 1992 Chevy Blazer S-10. My moronic dog stepped on the center console while it was open and snapped the little retaining rod in half, and now the center console is basically useless.
Does anyone have any tips on replacing the center console? It looks like it just has some screws and that it comes in and out. My version is the one without the cupholder.
>has some screws
What are you asking op? This is how literally everything comes apart on your car. Undo fastener, remove. You might need someone below, be prepared to replace them with something cause they are dinky and probably rusted to shit.
1. Take old one out.
2. Put new one in.
You're not building space shuttles, butthole. No rocket science involved.
I don't like how the original center console on the vehicle has no cupholder. Can anyone suggest an alternative?
Yeah. One with a cupholder.
What the frick even is this thread?
OP (as usual) is a complete moron and wants everyone else to google shit for him.
I am almost certain I know a website that sell shit like he wants. but frick him for not trying.
i know holy cow what kind of gay gay comes in here asking this shit
he could have just typed all that nonsense into a search and gotten the answer without the ridicule
I've searched for this same console for my SUV for three hours now you fricking morons and come up with nothing but dogshit replacements. lol
Works on my internets. Sounds like a (You) problem.
huh when I needed to do the same thing I found it pretty quick.

Search a pick n pull for 1992 Chevy blazer S-10's (and other compatible years) Find one that has the console you want and profit.
If you can't find anything that is a direct bolt in, then I'm sure they make universal center consoles with cup holders that you could probably make fit in there...

Lots of aftermarket for Jeep CJ - YJ- TJ that'll probably fit. I have one in my YJ.
