Totally. Moose are easily stunned with loud sounds. Just walk towards it clapping your hands together quickly and speaking in a harsh tone.

The point is that it's possible. Bowhunters regularly get within 15 yards of moose, and there is no reason why you couldn't do the same with a spear.

Spears? Frick that anon. Get some baseball bats and take it down caveman style. The six of you walloping a moose at once is the only manly way to do it.
On the off chance you're serious, yes, OP, there's a small chance you manage to get close enough to one to use spears. Namely if you can get it to charge you. But it is incredibly dangerous, moose are furry hyperviolent tanks, worse than bears in some cases.
Why not drop this idea and use a bow? You're still putting sticks in it. Or just come to your senses and pack a rifle.
If you can get a good hit (knick a major vein/artery) the drop in blood pressure will probably incapacitate it quickly without injury to yourself. Odds of getting 6 guys in range of a moose without anybody getting hurt is more difficult. Also a bad hit will piss it off and is liable to get somebody trampled.
One of you will die but the rest of you will survive and enjoy moose liver. Thats how it goes in pack hunting- somebody has to get got.
I mean, considering actual cavemen took down Irish Elk with stone tipped spears back in the day, a moose should be no problem for modern man.
