Plumbers are the natural enemies of everyone. They put their pipes wherever they please. Got 4" PVC? Lets run it through this wall of 2x4's, it's bearing PVC, after all.

Actually it's fricking welders. Firestarting fricks with no regard for anything, get mad at YOU when you don't want them throwing hot slag on you and generally frick shit up for everyone.

      >roof on one side of house is sagging
      >get up in the attic
      >some plumber had cut chunks out of the webs of several trusses because otherwise he would have had to move his pipe 6" over

The natural enemies of everyone would be sheet metal guys. Tin knockers are scum and bending thin metal is barely a trade

I don't hate plumbers, but its goddamn annoying when any trade can't decide where they want to put something and I don't like redoing work

I would think electricians and plumbers wouldn't mix, just like electricity and water don't

You may be onto something there.

Why don't they team up? Water and copper conduct electricity so why not use the plumbing to power the house?

water is actually a poor conductor of electricity

Minerals in water are main source of its conductivity. Add a little bit salt to fresh water and it will increase its ability to conduct significantly.

There was a time where (in eurooe) we used the water mains for grounding.

For perhaps obvious reasons (and also because of PEX) we no longer do that.

It's plumbers and sparkies don't mix, carpenters are the middle ground that actually builds the thing. Everyone else fricks it.

Carpenters are the morons too stupid to drywall that need to be retaught to sweep floors. They're not strong enough to pour wheelbarrows of concrete and they're too disgusting and bad at math to have an office job.

      Most other tradies are respectable.

Wheelbarrows of concrete? We always use pump trucks for concrete. Where are you working, Ecuador?

In addition to carpenters, natural enemies of the plumber include alcoholism, heart disease, and poorly fitting pants. The also have an inferiority complex when it comes to Electricians.
