Canada sending 40 NEW Super Bison LAVs to Ukraine

>Ukraine's long-standing pleas — and prayers — for advanced Western weapons are beginning to be answered as Canada announced Thursday it plans to send dozens of brand-new armoured personnel carriers to the embattled country.
>Canada is working on finalizing a deal to provide Ukraine with 39 armoured combat support vehicles (ACSVs). They had been destined for the Canadian Army and were in the process of being delivered, but instead will be diverted.

    >Modern Western weapons armor is going to Ukraine.
Hardly. Its basically a Stryker, which aren't significantly better protected than the BMP 2s they've got. I'm sure they'll find a use for them, but lets not pretend this is going to tip any scales.

I think it’ll work well on the Kherson front.
Don’t they have a desert in the South of Ukraine?

Oleshky sands, while the biggest sand desert in Europe, is still not very big. But it might be cool to see some Bisons there

Why does vatnik propaganda always manage to make them look worse? Oh no, we blew up the Moskva ourselves. Oh no, we're not failing against Ukraine's NATO weaponry, we're failing without them having it.

This argument simply doesn't work, one of the main uses of western weapons is deterrence against Russia, so if it's being used to kill Russians, it is fulfilling its purpose.

What exactly are we defending ourselves from, if all the while we welcome legal invaders (mass immigration) who will inevitably destroy the ethnos and thus the hearts of our nations?

Bluntly stated, Russia makes it more likely to see non-white invaders. It the US alone it loves meddling with South America, the destablizing it often provokes leads to more brown migrants crawling up here.

Canadian army doesn't need LAVs against migrants. Canadian ability to deter migrants doesn't change one bit after Canada will send 40 Super Bisons to kill Russians

How is covid masked as russia?
The Canadians aren't fighting russia. They're taking advantage of a situation to punish Igor and his buddies, which is happening, hard, fast, and dry. The same way vatniks screw their subordinates in the Army.

Obviously a fricking Vatnik. What? you're part of the relevant military capability in the Pacific? Maybe act like it and if someone needs help understand when it it provided using your equipment, because that's what we have to look like if we want to look as scary as possible. Think instead of what else can be sent, and if it's sent does that mean native military production goes up and Canadian logistics can be strengthened so Canada doesn't miss the equipment it has provided and can provide even more.

the ukraine globohomosexual shills dogpiling this post say it all. why should canada be obligated to give up any of their fresh equipment, meant for their own people, and hand it over to ukraine. the people saying the equipment should be handed over because "oh canada won't be needing it anyway" are the same caliber of moronic homosexuals that seethe on PrepHole about people owning pickup trucks.

        >In June 2022, the Canadian Government announced that it would be diverting 39 ACSVs to the Ukrainian Armed Forces as military aid from the order of 360 vehicles it had previously made for the Canadian Forces. Canadian officials stated that the vehicles along with spare parts would be delivered during the summer of 2022 and that the Forces would still receive a total order of 360 vehicles in addition to the 39 vehicles given to Ukraine

The Ukrainians need them now, we can wait a bit longer on those 39 replacements.

Sure thing bro. It's less than 5% and it's fricked up stats because they are using umbrella catagories and "trust me bro" as good enough evidence. Not to mention a vast majority of these "Ukrainians" in Canada would be people who ran away from their country or left it because it was shit. I don't know if those stats also include "native born" in Canada either that would just inflate the numbers with arbitrary non-ukrainians that have no ties to that forsaken shithole besides maybe language.

That being said most Ukrainians there moved circa 1800s from Austrian occupied Ruthenia, so they barely have a connection.

This is not a criticism but Ukraine is going to have to become the expert on everything to maintain all of the equipment they are being sent.
Maybe when the war is over they can develop cutting edge equipment since they'll have used everything ever made.

I assume they keep the logistics manageable by keeping weapon types together, e.g. all of these Canadian IFVs will go to one area of the front together. No?

These will actually be a really big help if Ukraine ever gets an offensive going in the South. They need fighting vehicles to keep momentum up with a breakthrough when it emerges.

Do the Russians even have a hard counter for these things, when in an open terrain?
MBT, IFV and aircraft seems like the obvious solution. But with the amount of Javelins, NLAWs, Stingers, etc. the Ukies have and will continue to get, it's becoming a suicide mission for any tanker and pilot.
They have RPGs but the range on them seems pretty limited.
Anti-materiel rifles? Do they even have any?
Can they just direct fire artillery like an anti-tank gun?
Maybe drones with mortar shells and grenades?

No doubt, but Canada sending something it doesn't have, for Ukrainians to fight a war Canada isn't involved in is fricking moronic. NATO is stronger if Canada stops being moronic and actually builds it's military instead of sending what little useable shit it has for the US to ship to Ukraine.
