2 years ago Reply Anonymous hard to tell, it definitely looks siliceous but could cointain dolomite as well you should do researches on the geology of the area
2 years ago Reply Anonymous If it ever was a geode, it's already been broke so there's no point in breaking it more unless you want tumbling material. Is that second pic the same rock or a different one? It almost looks like it could have some agate banding.

This is a marmite buildup. A common marmite stone.
