Agreed with a caveat that West Germans suffered from demoralization shit from the KGB and also have a bit of cuck to them as well. Scholz was a massive cuck*1 until the whole 10 cent coup attempt went down. Then he grew a spine. I'll have to say that Macron probably has the best redemption arc so far as long as he actually follows through with his aggressiveness. He went from sweet talking Putin like a clingy girlfriend on his phone to extoling the French bloodlust of the past which was great.

                >[1] He supported the Freudenberger Kreis, a Marxist wing of the Jusos' university groups, arguing that society should "overcome the capitalist economy" in one of his publications.[9] In it, Scholz criticized the "aggressive-imperialist NATO", the Federal Republic as the "European stronghold of big business" and the social-liberal coalition, which puts the "bare maintenance of power above any form of substantive dispute".[10] Referring to this period in his life, Scholz has later said that he "made almost all possible mistakes at some point".[9]

It was even worse than that:
                >Be Germany
                >Let your military rot like Canada does with theirs

I like the new makeover Macron. I'm a bit disappointed with Congressional foot dragging but the border crisis (which Russia is very much a player to with China) is definite non-kinetic warfare frickery much like what happened with Eastern Europe plus Finland when it came to "refugees" on their borders being shipped in by the trainload. Just wished TZD was also mixed together with total wall domination as well. That or outright going after Chinese and Russian nonkin warfare games that amplify the "migrants."

Yeah. But the alliance treaty is bound by US law, and the president cannot abolish the law. Congress is the first step, and it goes from there. You can read up on it, these treaties create whole messes in countries' law systems and getting out of one is not just a nightmare to navigate through but also often requires almost if not total unanimity vote.
The president's power is limited by congress and the law in case of the US. He is not a dictator.

Not only that but the U.S. military simply won’t do anything that it, or the wider bureaucracy doesn’t want to do. The President has power over the military in theory but in REALITY he doesn’t. The President could literally order a nuclear strike against Russia and be within legal bounds, ie, triggered by NATO and other defense agreements under which the United States is legally obligated to take action, and the military can SIMPLY just not follow the order. If the Secretary of Defense won’t follow an order the President CAN’T tell the Pentagon to do something because that would break the chain of command. He can fire the Secretary of Defense and get a new one confirmed who may or not obey the order, and maybe the SecDef may face criminal charges for failing to execute his office. The “Commander-in-Chief” thing is just a title that doesn’t have any real-world meaning. /k/ has this fantasy of the President grabbing the nuclear football and slamming the LAUNCH button on the first hint. But in reality the President has no such ability. The military moves only when it wants to as a organization in overall accordance with everything else.

This place is full of children suddenly, why is it?

By the way most people here know what SIOP is and know some basics about the options available from journalists over the decades. It's generally accepted that POTUS has codes given to him each day by the NSA, these codes are entered into the football along with a chosen attack plan (the aide holding the football, or someone he's with, knows specifics), and that's immediately either an actual attack order/EAM/whatever or is very quickly turned into one.

They have no reason to hide this. Why are you coping?

Guess what - Poland has thousands of Spike ATGMs (which are more modern compared to Javelins), it has artillery integrated with forward observers and drones through the system called Topaz. And an ongoing state of military operation along the Belarus border. And did I mention that eastern Polish terrain is mostly forest, swamps, rivers and lakes?

The U.S. military like Gregor Clegane; big and scary, unsurpassed in violence who slaughters helpless people. But he’s also wracked with migraine headaches and needs drugs and finally succumbs to poison. When he’s on your side (The Mountain’s Men = NATO) you feel as if you’re on the top of the world, but you’re really just a nobody who follows the Mountain around, without that protection you’re barely any different from any other knight. But the boss is constantly in bed conked out on drugs, increasingly sluggish and getting tired easily. Your enemies are noticing this and are getting bolder — not yet daring to face you directly but you see a time coming in which you really might have to fight your enemies without the boss there to handle it. It’s not that you CAN’T fight but you’ve spent so long in the shadow of the Mountain that the idea of being out from under it frightens you.

They source artillery shells to thirdies because Ukraine is fighting with thirdie soviet artillery. It has already been explained to you twice in this thread and you keep regurgitating your homosexual ruzzie lie like it's nothing. This is why people assume that your pathetic ass is getting paid to post here.

Article 5 is more assured now than it has ever been. NATO just acquired two new members who are both militarily capable and eager to show a commitment to the alliance. Similarly the Baltics are wholly dependant on proper NATO functios and will be very invested in upholding their end of the bargain in return.
And the second any one of them hit go, there is no chance on god's grey earth that the United States is going to look like a little gay and refuse to join.

And germany isn't motivated by altruism either - Russia is just so fricking barbaric they've still yet to realise that there's much more money to be made through cooperation than conquest. It's the same people claiming that Europe was planning to genocide them by providing them with half of their entire budget through gas and oil sales.

There is no logic in anything they say. Their regime doesn't value truth because it would inevitably point to the simple fact that a corrupt dictatorial government that refuses to replace or even allow the critique of its leaders will inevitably fail. All the insufferable paid shills, useful idiots, and bots shitting up the internet are literally there for the sole purpose of keeping Putin and his homosexual bunch in power.

I don't think people realize how much the quality of discussions will improve the moment this homosexual country gets glasses or has its regime overthrown.

a monkey brain like the eastern degenerates does not think like that. Only ones to ever really benefit from a larger money pie, the tzar and his oligarchs, are all so fed up right now from all the stealing of the previous decades. Bank serfs cant comprehend this but money has this bad habit of losing its value the more you possess it. This in turn creates a vaccuum in their bored lives they start filling with stupid shit. Some turn to hedonistic prostitute parties on private yachts. Others, like monke, shut themselves in library getting high off previous centuries russophilic hit pieces prophesizing about how mighty puccia bear is a historical anomaly destined to rule the entire world!

What ALL other elites believe in: money. Connections and access to money. Buying participation of others with money in order to maintain access and connections to money. Besides that, passing down what he’s accumulated to his children. No different from any other elite since the beginning of human civilization. The only difference between Putin and Biden is the IQ level of their respective civilizations allowing for very different degrees of success. In the West, high-IQ populations can successfully organize into political blocs to force elites to share. In low-IQ peasant civilizations the elites more easily defeat the interests of the populations because low-IQs struggle to organize themselves into meaningful political blocs. Russia is in this middle-ground of IQ distribution similar to China in that the majority are dumb peasants but there’s still enough higher-IQs to run a modern industrial society, but not enough to make the elites share.

I'm sure if I wasn't there he'd have just kept sunk cost fallacy believing in this shit, but a bit of peer pressure and the schizophrenic Russian media being all over the place like with MA17 in this war has made is very difficult for even those they've been propagandising for years to still straight up believe them, as long as they have an out.
