It can resist 12.7mm rounds at any angle and the wienerpit can resist up to 37mm. So, 7.62mm is not going to do anything. The rotor-blades are resistant up to 12.7mm as well. As is the wienerpit glass. Now whether the FN MAG could detonate a munition on the Mi-24 and cause it to explode and damage the helicopter, I don't know.
