Can burgeranons redpill me on pic
>going to Montana in a few months to do a bit of hiking
>don’t know anyone there and doing alone
>hear that’s not a good idea cuz of grizzlies
How likely am I to run into one of these? How fricked am I if I see one? All the stats indicate I’ll probably be ok
Oh yeah I’m a bong so obviously don’t have access to a firearm
>going to Montana in a few months
>Oh yeah I'm a bong
No thanks. State's full.
Frick you I wanna see real beautiful landscapes no rolling fields
No thanks. You have your own country to go PrepHole in.
>implying bongs have PrepHole at home
now you are just being mean son.
if you have money enough to travel you have enough money to get a gun. maybe just get something from a pawn shop or gun show or some other dodgy place, and sell it back at the end of your trip.
You will be fine. Just don't be a moron.
Elaborate? I’ve never seen a bear before
Just coat yourself in honey and put raw salmon in your pockets and you'll be fine
You are guys are so mean! You’re nothing like the chads over at /travel/
Low effort bait post.
If you see one, surprise him. They like that. Then run away from him as fast as you can, they are fat and slow. You will outrun him and have a good story to tell.
I’m guessing you’re going to Yellowstone, as it’s a pretty accessible tourist destination. The closer you are to where people have stayed, the more likely you are to see bears. But they’re not the giant kill machines /k/thinks they are.
these are the only red pills you need guy

>Curtis subsequently sprayed the bear with pepper spray, but this only aggravated the animal. He grabbed a gun and shot it twice, killing the bear.
They’re basically 600kg Black folk. Hiking isn’t so fun when the threat of being mauled by these frickers is high.
a foreign national that shot a bear would be gigafricked. death would probably be preferable.
Replying to an obvious bait thread, but for everyone else who is wondering, you'd have to make a series of mistakes to get mauled by a griz. Don't make those mistakes and you'll be fine, simple as.
Holy frick I’m not baiting, you’re talking to someone who’s never been within 1000 miles of a bear, thanks for the advice anon
I'm pretty sure that's a Kodiak bear not a grizzly bear. But you probably not see a griz. Just get bear mace and learn how to use it. Then use it if need be, it usually works.
Where are you going specifically? Not everywhere have Griz.
Its highly likely you will never see one…
i was within 100 yards of a grizzly and her cub when hiking. they left us alone but we were in a large group.
Just make noise as you walk and don't smell tasty.

Look up general bear safety tips and you should be fine unless you're as dumb as your PM's seem to be.
