Its the month in date code moron.
...is that thing from a 1961 batch?
It was in storage THAT long, and didn't get used for training or shipped out to the field?
Imagine getting killed by shell that is older than your parents.
>Imagine getting killed by shell that is older than your parents.
That fucking thing was manufactured and placed in storage two years before the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
Four years before the US entered the Vietnam war!
>Its the month in date code moron.
Is usually how its been with ammo ive handled
pls halp its for teh realm
this thing is old af
the m114 had a 23 caliber barrel. I think this is an m107 or m102, no idea why its marked M1
Pics of m102? Have googled my ass off, can't find shit
only external difference is the driving band which is covored in OP pic
155/23 ammunition for one of the M114 howitzers that was donated by the US and Portugal
>155/23 ammunition for one of the M114 howitzers that was donated by the US and Portugal
nobody has donated m114's
My thoughts as well. But havent found any pics of the same ammo or anything. All pics pf m114s have been with m107s
most european countries decommissioned their m114's in the 90's and just put the ammo in storage
Youre going to need to crack it open to find out
