Butchering a goat

So I don't think I can skin it without getting hair all over in fact I ruined one doing just that.
Can I just burn the hair off?
My buck keeps trying to kill the babys so I'm going to eat him

          Eat him yes I use to be vegetarian actually but then I got health problem's and frick that.
          Anyway I don't trust meat from the store so now days I buy them alive feed them for 1y then eat them.
          It's much cleaner and healthy but I'm not much into butchering and this one was not my idea.

        I'm not sure there's a better way that isn't going to be 100 times more work. Burning the hair off is going to stink and might make it taste funny? I don't know, I've never tried that.

    Goats don't have wool so it shouldn't be too bad. You can shear it before hand if you really think it's necessary. We do on sheep sometimes.

    honestly skinning and butchery is pretty easy, first you make a cut from the bottom of the ribcage to the pelvis, cutting around the genitals. second, cut around the anus removing all the connective tissue, after that you reach as far up into the carcass to cut the trachea from within. after all that you should esentially be able to roll the carcass and dump the guts out. after this you should hang the carcass to cool. After all this you can start by cutting each limb at the knuckle and severing the joint, along with removing the head however far up you want neck meat from. pick a leg and follow the bone down into the chest cavity cut, make a cut through the skin from the bottom of the neck to the gut cut opening along the sternum. after that skinning is just a matter of keeping the flesh taut while you feather the knife through the connective tissue. from there breaking a carcass down is fairly simple, the hocks, loin along the spine , various thin trimmings and all could be ground up or cut into steaks

    a meat hook and a hand winch make this way easier, but it can be done on a shitty card table with a fish filet knife like I did, use butcher paper to store in the freezer
