Why dismiss such an incredible advantage? Unless, of course, you don't actually shoot. Which is par for the course for anti optics fudds.

okay homosexual, if the average was 7 yards, that means half of all shootings happen past 7 yards and beyond. blah blah prove that in court a guy with a gun at 25 yards was a threat to you!
It's more than about just precision as well, they're faster, are able to be shot faster, the dot is where the bullet goes and shooting rapid fire it is much easier to shoot good groups with a red dot. Why do you think literally everyone who shoots is now using a red dot on their handgun? What relics are you going to pull up as paragons of iron sight lore? Masab ayoob?

That's not how averages or the mean works. That's the median. >points I never said I disagreed with
I'm not saying it's not better in some circumstances but the difference isn't significant to warrant it's existence outside law enforcement because of what self defense shootings tend to be like.

what the frick does this even mean anon, and why does that matter? Any advantage in a self defense situation should be taken advantage of, and red dots offer a significant advantage over irons because of >target acquisition >follow up shots >ease of use
RDOs make shooting pistols a lot easier which is desirable when shooting under stress

I think we just disagree on the degree to which dots have an advantage over irons in such circumstances. You keep saying 'significant' or 'a lot' but of course these factors can change greatly depending on the context. If you believe that any difference, no matter how great is worth it, as you did, then it doesn't really matter if it's significant at all. Therefore, I can't convince you otherwise.
yeah
frick ya mudda
>improving a design is le bad
okay?
almonds roasted. now i dont need to buy a p38
>They learned about sex from the Greeks and realized you could have it with women.
it's such a classic post
Delightfully devilish Mario
When will someone make a doublestack p38? And no the Beretta isnt it
I want to know when somebody will make a doublestack Tokarev
I double stacked your mother
Vietnam does.
a good one
that somebody will sell to me for $700
that has an optics cut
springfield prodigy.
best i can do.
Croatians made it. They called it the "PHP".
Its close but not quite there
You can put a full size berretta 92 barrel in a centurion model (short slide, full size grip) and it looks like a p38.
>let's take the sleek looking 92 design and add a light rail and angular trigger guard
Nothing wrong with that
>red dot
opinion discarded
