BREAKING: Russians are allegedly attacking (!) near Kreminna

Only speculative due to OPSEC, but the fire map heavily indicates that there's very heavy combat currently ongoing in the big forest near Kreminna. Anecdotal anonymous reports from various milbloggers, although entirely unreliable, seem to indicate that there's indeed combat there, right now.

    Kremina is quite important, right?

Attacking what? They have zero offensive capabilities left.

I guess we're about to find out.
But yeah it's hard to see this being a large-scale thing.

Try to fend off an Ukranian incursion? I don't remember if Kremina is occupied or not, those names are kinda hard to remember.

Kreminna is in the Russian area of control, but near the frontline. There's a road between Kreminna and Svatove further north that Russians don't have full control over.

Doesn't matter, they will sacrifice a few thousand men to draw some Ukrainian reserves away from the South. This buys them some time. While Ukraine is defending against human waves, they cannot attack, at least this is their line of thinking.

Are you sure it's zero? It's true that they have 350k active land forces deployed and a decisive majority of that is in Ukraine right now. But I don't think they're fully spent, not yet. Maybe they're doing it to mess up Ukraine's own plans

They have reserves, it's that guards army that got bopped several times and supposedly has been rebuilt in the rear plus scraps of some other army that are more or equivalent to a division.

Would be funny if they tried to do a Bakhmut again and bled themselves dry instead of plugging gaps in Zaporizhia. If they were stupid enough to try it'd very likely quicken the total collapse of their army.

They send a small group out (to die) every couple of days here already. Not really news unless this is a massed movement, which I also doubt.

That forest is a grey zone since ladt autumn. There were reports of Ukies being present there few weeks ago altough never advancing to the Kremina itself. This shelling could be from both sides.

Predator in Afghanistan, Iraq or Ukraine would have been kino. Instead we get Predator vs some French fur traders and some chubby indian princess that renders Adolini's cool story non canon

They already established mud is a decent camouflage against predators, why try to sell us on injuns understanding how infrared works?

That totally real flower in the american southwest that lowers your core body temperature. Did the writers forget the setting isn't fantasy? Also, what the frick were french fur trappers doing in the fricking midwest? They wanted the setting to be in the Great Lakes but unironically couldn't think of an Indian tribe other than Comanche

Its true they are launching a counteroffensive across the entire line in the north but the FIRMS data isn't worth much that place is on fire every day. You can literally go to google maps and see it engulfed in flames and that was about a year ago
