WHat, you're saying Ukraine's done worse?

I heard a report this morning where they were trying to figure out what they were even aiming at, apparently one of the towns hit did have a small military air strip like, 2 miles away? There wasn't anything else.

As always with Snowgeriastan there isn't really any non-embarrassing/shitty answer here:
        a) of course they were aiming for rando civilians!
        b) their incredible advanced precision missiles that crush the west and they are definitely making lots of have a CEP >2miles

Vatniks and /misc/nigs can choose their own adventure on that one. Or go for more of "the little quick stop market had a dozen hato generals in it" I guess.

What's the deal with this shit anyway, I keep seeing people saying Ukraine fricked Donabsa bad in the mid 10's but I don't ever see what tehy hit or how bad i t was. Meanwhile the Ruskies are firing missiles at random into the enemy line and killing tons of civvies, then claiming they're soldiers.

Actually it wasvery important. Germans send 80% of it's tanks and mechsnised division to the wesrncforn after D-Day. Eastern front left with footslogging infantry divisions. That created conditions for successful Soviet offensive in the 1944. Before it was stalemate in the eastern front and very dangerous for USSR stalemate, soviets were lossing troops at much higher rate that Germany and stwrt e to run out of cannon fodder. In 1944 soveits starrter to run out of Russians and begun concripting Asians and in ni way these ersatz troops could compete with Ivan.
But after D-Day landing Germany daily casualties tripled and they set on steady lossing trend.

From 1942 the soviets were already making advancements. By 1944 they were almost at pre-war borders. Germany started losing at 1942. Not 1944.

Reason why Russian cruise missiles are hitting civilian targets is more likely because users are too incompetent to hit military targets, missile guidance systems are low quality or their intel faulty. Even Soviet era surplus cruise missiles are kinda wasted on commie blocks.

They place long range artillery and other military units right next to residential homes. We're not talking about close range encounters where someone is clearing out the block. Those are long range units taking fight at long range, purposely positioned within 5-15m away from residential buildings to either deter or provoke attack with political repercussions.

Russian statistics are on par with what neighboring countries report. Even Ukraine is very similar to Russia in that aspect. Based off that we can deduce that whatever your schizobrain is telling you the real number is, it's very close to the statistics reported.

        >neighboring countries report
Their reports are limited because they don't actually know what happens inside the country unless they send organizations or people there to study the crimes inside the country. Russian cops are extremely corrupt and there is a gap between what they report and what they do not report. It doesn't help that russia cracked down on journalism/freedom of speech and also have tight control over their media. Which makes it harder to get an accurate assessment on what their true statistics are. The russian government knows that they can lie on their statistics and restrict anybody from the outside to actually report on the actual numbers.

Most likely it was one of their old KH-55 anti-ship missiles. Without radar for terminal guidance against something like an aircraft carrier at sea, they have a CEP of like 1km. They just shoot them at cities and then claim that it was a military target.

Ukrainians shelled donbass because the Russians were invading through the Donbass
    >but they were just seperatists!
Putin has officially annexed those territories into the Russian federation, you don't need to maintain the lie any more, it was always a Russian invasion with the explicit intention of seizing and annexing Ukrainian land
The fact that it took them 8 years to fail to capture the entirety of the Donbass was actually a pretty good indicator of what was going to happen when the rest of the Russian army went in circa 2022

    >I should ask Russians why did Ukrainians shell Donbas since 2014? This doesn't make any sense.
No, you should ask the russians on why they were shelling eastern Ukraine and also supplying seperatists with their own artilleries. Russians has been known to supply the rebels and giving them artillery
When the rebels are about to collapse, the russians move in and started to shell the place. Which prompted Ukraine to shell back at the seperatists.
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Russian_cross-border_shelling_of_Ukraine#:~:text=On%2013%20July%202014%2C%20Russia,civilian%20and%20injured%20two%20others.
    >You do realize the Ukrainians have started air bombing central Lugansk in June 2014, way before the separatists had any artillery?
But they did have artillery? Did you think the russians were not actively supplying them? They were the ones that propped up the region after failing to stir up mass riots across the country.

It doesn't help that the russians admitted to popping up those 2 regions as puppets and will let nobody of competence in power. Russia shelled Ukraine because they don't want to lose their puppet, not because Ukraine is killing innocent people(exact opposite given that the seperatists regions are popped up by an adversary that just took your territory). Ya' know... Lets have a "What if" worldbuilding experiment.

    >What if Russia chose not too intervene at all after Euromaidan?
In 2014, Russia sees the way the winds are going with Maidan and simply chooses not too intervene... What happens?
    >Russia keeps its bases in Crimea. They are seen as a "stabilizing" force compared to the ongoing spats of political strongmen and oligarchs in Ukraine.
    >Ukraine becomes incredibly fractured and easier to control by Russia through strongmen that take positions of power and can be manipulated with money.
    >Ukraine's military never "seasons" itself with 8 years of fighting in the Donbas. It remains hopelessly corrupt and easy to influence.
    >Donbas War simply never happens. No shootdown of passenger aircraft, no indiscriminate shellings, no UXOs... Nothing. It's merely a few angry protestors who get told to frick off by the local police.

Russia's winning move in 2014, would have simply been to let shit run its course. Sure, Ukraine may have been more likely to become a member of the EU, but how would that negatively effect Russia? In the aftermath of Maidan, Russia would have had several "Russophile" parties and politicians in Ukraine, which would be able to manipulate local officials into getting Russian better trade agreements and resource rights. Russia would still control the vast majority of Ukraine's newly discovered oil and LNG reserves via oligarchs aligned with Russia.

So why did Russia choose the path of war and destruction? What does Russia gain from it?

I was posting this to another guy in another thread, but I gotta ask this here.

realistically, if Russia wins this war, they can't, wouldn't they self destruct anyway? The militrary is basically only conscripts, they have no manufacturing, all of their military "might" was totaled I.E. their navy, airforce, and army has been 90% destroyed.

What's the realistic recourse if they won? All I could see is the conscripted army murdering Putin and his family, installing a new dictator, and using the oil reserves to rebuild infrastructure and armor production.

But then they still have the issue of training competent soldiers, and hiring engineers that could make their industry work, most of which fled or were killed because of the Kremlin.

I legitimately don't understand Russia's goal at this point, it's military suicide already, is it just to save face?

are they really not being sent to war? They had to source 400k conscripts from nowhere.

Militarily speaking how many cops do they have that are basically just military police versus 400k or so conscripts?

it's frankly sad vatniks have to resort to petty demoralization tactics like posting destroyed shit in ukraine as if it's the own of the century. they're proud to reduce everyone else's humanity to their level. this has been going on for almost 10 years now and not a single iota of shame. truly dehumanizing.

Hahaha i so hope this is actually a genuine russian national coping this spastically it would make it so much more pathetic. Also vatnikAnon, if there's "low" murder rates in Russia I'd be more inclined to believe it's just because the police department doesn't have any litterate goons working there in most of Russia, so they just can't use letters to write down whadunnit. Or maybe getting beaten to death by an addict or plowing into a guy while vodka cruising is just considered "Death by natural causes" in Russia lel.

So now that the dust has settled, what did they hit? Shot 20-something missiles and leveled a quarter of a commieblock?

For real ... what the frick are these subhumans doing? I can't even tell what's more vile and moronic, doing this on purpose or by accident

I think you're trying to present a false dichotomy to try and obscure the fact that post he's referring to is clearly intended to be supportive of Russia. The question is why?

Discarded that persona I see? Did I catch you out too often. You should consider not having such a recognisable posting style if you want to try and pass yourself off as a new user.
