complete noname chinese junk. i don't know what you paid, but probably enough that you could've bought a Mora Companion instead and have a knife that's better in basically every aspect.

Your knife should come with a tip. I'd return it if it didn't.

Why is this model of knife banned in England?

UK is frickadoodled, likely it would be
        >locking
        >one hand deployable
        >poooosibly the pocket clip
        >think the rule used to be "blade no longer then a Credit card" but they shortened it i think
UK is so fricked man, the rich can literally buy an entire nature reserve and ban people from hiking on it(that has been done for centuries) but if you letter opener is scary your fricked, bang guns, leads to knives, ban knives, leads to screwdrivers, ban "tools" when not specifically working. It's so fricked man, can't wait until they make crime illegal!

Not really though; those laws are only applicable if you don't have a reason for carrying the knife - it's perfectly fine to carry a larger fixed knife if you're going camping for example. If you're carrying a 6 inch locking blade to go shopping then you deserve to be arrested (although the chances of being searched are zero unless you're already doing something wrong)

            >If you're carrying a 6 inch locking blade to go shopping then you deserve to be arrested
what if we want to have a fighting chance against being part and parcel'd by a brown person like those 3 in notts yesterday

The solution to some nutcase going Push R3 -> Stealth Takedown on you is not armament. It's situational awareness. Run the frick away: there's no point dying in a knife fight, win lose or draw.
Of course, then the argument is "why not have a gun?" which is smart thinking until you realise the bad guy will have a gun, and the attacker is even more heavily favoured in a shootout than a knife fight.

obviously running away is the first priority, but what if that fails? If you have a knife the attacker at least knows he can't take you with out getting himself cut up atleast.

Assuming retreat is 100% impossible... I suppose it's better to be armed? In some situations you might be able to convince an attacker to retreat but in my second-hand experience a knife is a poor defence against a knife. Might be a better idea to have something long and heavy to hand that can get in the way and/or strike first.
A relative of mine works in a hospital and more than once has seen both parties of a knife fight come in and neither leave. I personally consider dying like a b***h and dying two beds over from my killer to be pretty much equal.

That sounds like Israel buying land the natives used to conduct their caravan trading for centuries, broh that like someone buying the f* road

So, the "ban" is a bit more complicated.
There's no scale on the image, but that LOOKS like it's UK compliant actually. If the knife has a liner lock I can't see, then it's not permitted for casual pocket carry but it's a defence to show an immediate practical use for it, so for all PrepHole activities it'd still be fine.
There are knives which are "always no" but that knife doesn't have any of the features AFAIK.

Here if you are white and you dress by the norms no cop will bother you, they told me that one time

It's unlikely, for sure. AFAIK the laws against carry are mostly an offence intensifier for people they're already dealing with.

            >Why do cops profile?
            >Because it works.
A cop told me this around 2005.

It's pretty easy to bend or break the tip on a low grade stainless. I probably would have gone with something bigger and a fixed blade for the tropics...maybe even as big as a mini Stainless Golok or the Victorinox - Swiss Army Knife w/ 12" blade.

Obviously use it for awhile and see how it works out but I'd go bigger and fixed blade.

Folders are what boomers carry to open boxes with.

Gas station knife. Buy a Opinel, Victorianox, Leatherman, Helle, Mora, or literally any knife from any company that is half decent at making knives. Ozark Trail, Gerber, and Wenger do not count they're pretty much either crappy or knock offs of their vastly superior competition. (Gerber knocks off Leatherman)
