Im acutally super excited for a modernized 80 series. Would be a lot cooler if it were .32acp with 15rd mags. Might also be a good candidate for that super .30 carry meme round.
>Might also be a good candidate for that super .30 carry meme round.
they would have to make a locked breech version for that, but this thing should have had that in the first place
why would you want it to be direct blowback
what possible advantage does direct blowback have
i have a cheetah now but i'm afraid that when i get old and infirm i won't be able to rack the slide
way overpriced for what it is
killed a lot of the style that is unironically what people would choose this over a ruger for. I would consider it if i didn't already have a cz82 that performs basically the same basic role but with a better round.
unironically what they should have done instead of the optic plate and rail. If you're putting an optic and light on why would you go for a 380. Actually why would you put that shit on it and not include a threaded barrel for a suppressor which is an actual unserved market niche. They could either go the single stack slim and small, convenient pocket carry 380 or go for the bigger tactical 380. Instead they hit this weird middle ground where nobody is completely satisfied.
>799 >.380 >that rail
but why? .380 is for cheap-ish pistols you can put in your pocket, not some modern tacticool bullshit. You could spend a little more and get a CZ SP-01 tactical or any other brand new handgun on the market that has some advantage over it. Although, the more I think about it, it is kinda cool. Nice to see something that isn't 9mm. I just wonder why is was made in the first place.
>.380 is for cheap-ish pistols you can put in your pocket, not some modern tacticool bullshit
While I don't like the rail and forward serrations, I think it's nice to see more .380s in guns other than pocket pistols. I think people are realizing that the unfortunately common belief that .380 is a compromise and lacks "stopping power" is bullshit, and thus more companies are making larger .380s for people who probably don't shoot much and would benefit from the lower recoil.
I get where you're coming from, but when .380 is almost twice as expensive as 9mil, it's a hard sell for me. Not a bag round, it's my CC and EDC, just wish it was a little cheaper.
The price does suck. Just like .38 special, it's a cartridge that you almost have to reload for if you want to shoot it more often than rarely. I'm hoping that with all the new .380 options hitting the market, prices will go down, but I'm not holding my breath.
>direct blowback
Based. >.380

Cringe.
The 84FS will forever be the best handgun. You cannot improve upon perfection.
>direct blowback
yuck
Normally I wouldnt care about blowback but since the .32 tomcats have a tendency to crack slides, yeah im with you on this.
Also this. You can find used police trade in 9mm berettas for like $550 so why pay $800 for a .380 thats too big to pocket carry anyways?
All I want is the .25acp bobcat or "jetfire" or whatever back. Wouldnt mind getting the .25acp Seecamp back either.
Drop it to $499 and I might bite
>rail
yuck
trigger looks mad retarded f@m
>$800
>blowback
>ugly
>no .32
Eh I'll buy it, I carry an OG Cheetah anyways

Can you elaborate? I am retarded
.30sc develops too much pressure to be utilized in a blowback gun like that
The Cheetah is direct blowback. .380 is the hottest round it can handle
Meanwhile hi point just dropped direct blowback pistol in 10mm
why would you want it to be direct blowback
what possible advantage does direct blowback have
i have a cheetah now but i'm afraid that when i get old and infirm i won't be able to rack the slide
>i have a cheetah now but i'm afraid that when i get old and infirm i won't be able to rack the slide
That´s why they made the model 86, anon
I want one of these but only to pretend it's an M79 grenade launcher.
do want but i wish i knew about when i bought my cheetah a decade ago
way overpriced for what it is

Came here to complain about no .32, but I'm glad to see there are still cultured gentlemen on this board.
is this the modern Cheetah?
Unfortunately
>.380
nobody cares.
>modernized
pass
The market needs a full sized all metal .380 pistol for plinking, not a .380 sub-compact pistol that is too heavy and big to pocket carry.

I thought boomers would switch from 45 to 380 some day, but maybe arthritis meds improved.
.380 blowbacks have as much recoil as locked breech 9mm.
