why would I want a 9mm short rifle? it has zero practical use. The only scenario where a 9mm pcc is useful is as an SMG, but new guns are semi only, furthermore, a new 9mm SMG offers the exact same performance as an old one.
9mm subguns are marketed as home defense guns, but in no scenario does a 9mm outperform 556 or even 300blk sub from a short gun. 9mm cannot even win the overpenetration argument, as it penetrates drywall with zero effort, and gets stopped by a brick wall just as much as 556 does. 9mm however is incredibly weak compared to intermediate calibers, the weight reduction from 9mm ammo is offset by the heavy blowback bolt and the recoil is minimal from both.
if you are moronic enough to buy a 16' 9mm rifle you are better off with a pump action shotgun, as it will actually do damage.

Who gives a frick, PCC are silly so at least lets have silly fun! JARD made one but somehow fricked it up and no one has tried since. Hi-points are fun for their price but they're single stack, Sub-2000 feels like you could break it over your knee, Ruger's PCC are the starting point for feeling over priced. It's a direct blowback neutered subgun, shit shouldn't be over $500 especially if you are using fricking polymer receivers. I can forgive MP5clones and the other oddball delayed blowbacks for being expensive, they are atleast trying something different or with more machining tolerance concerns.
