    They're technically NATO standard r-right?

There's reports of some tanking m855 but of others being penned by 308. Honestly it probable depends alot on many factors and seeing as I have 8 sets of them to hand out to family if the nukes drop but level IV ceramics for myself, I wouldnt trust it for myself but hey its better than nothing for everyone else

If you have money to waste on aliexpress gear, you aren’t poor.
    I’m still rocking a type 81

What did I get hit by? My plates are certified NIJ III, advertised III+, but they're also made in Canada and we can't even build working AR180s so

In the field you won't be able to ask that question. The point of this exercise is asking is how confident you are that you are not currently dead.

Ok, then in all seriousness, I'm confident I'm alive as long as I didn't just get slapped by a Lvl IV threat or above.

I'd need level IV plates to stop serious cartridges, which are expensive plates, and I'm not sure how I'd wear that concealed. I just don't have plates, can't justify buying them either, as I'd only want to buy the best grade armor. However, even the top grade military ceramic ESAPI armor is very bulky and impossible to conceal. However, I can still load and carry rounds that penetrate level IV plates, and anyone can carry rounds that shoot around them (head/groin/arms/legs/side/neck). In some cases, it is advantageous to not get kitted up in a bunch of armor and gear, so you can just look like a normal civilian. While if you are absolutely required to be head to toe in plates, carriers, and combat gear, you are immediately visually identifiable.

AliExpress plates are unironically way better than trash like AR500 or RMA. I have Hescos but I would take Militech plates in a heartbeat over those first two.

How am I shilling? I said they're not as good as Hescos but they're also objectively speaking not the worst plates out there. AR500's level IV plates are embarrassingly bad.

The bullet went through my chest and I'm bleeding heavily. I don't wear plates. Plates are for pussies that are afraid of dying.
