no you stupuid homosexuals spent an entire thread telling me that an f22 using thrust vectoring "flippity-flops" to aim its radar at a target was "good",
and any Russian plane doing any "flippity-flops" was bad, shit even

The cobra maneuver is a flashy move with no utility in real combat outside of only a couple of very specific situations. Using thrust vectoring to aim a radar is good, but a newer radar with better beam steering would be better. Unfortunately the F-22 won't be getting an upgrade because the F-35 is replacing it in some roles.

If Buzz thinks he is a Space Ranger and not a toy, why doesn't he talk to Andy and the kids when they open him up?

I thought it was because toys pretty much go immobile and unconscious, even involuntarily, when actual humans look at them. They can only move at that point if they know of the effect and consciously resist it.
Someone who doesn't know of being a toy also wouldn't know of the effect, and therefore cannot move, while Woody, a long time toy, knows full well of the effect and can turn it off at will (1st movie when he traumatized that one child).

You need high EM performance a la F-15 or F-16 to dodge missiles in BVR, not high AoA airshow tricks a la Su-27 or F/A-18. Though truth be told the Su-27 platform has very good EM performance, the vatnigs just choose to shill the moronic tricks.

      >he thinks "evasive measures" is having a higher rate of turn than the missile
Google "defensive bvr" and "defensive notching".
Clearly you are better off in a fighter than an airliner so there is always a use for high instantanious turn rate and high sustained turn rate but being able to turrn harder than the other fighter matters a lot less than you missile having higher energy when it gets to him.

At a guess, IF it's all true, then these planes may have been much more important than previously imagined. Also, the Patriot theory seems valid, or some similar hack job by the Ukies would mean that monke's minions didn't have a friendly fire incident ... they just ran into more advanced capabilities than they have been planning for. Several nasty surprises all at once, so not entirely "just a plane."

Some countries have the ground AA under the command of their nation's Air Force. I'm not sure if that is the case with Russia and Ukraine, but it could be. Literallywho dude on Telegram could also be mistake, but I could see it making sense if you're trying to avoid blue-on-blue by having the people flying planes also commanding anything that shoots up. Could also be just a weird post-soviet thing. Did you know Russia has TIGERS and the missile forces as its own Military Branch? Ye, theoretically the dudes launching ground iskanders are as separate from the ground forces as the Navy is.

If the Ukies didn’t employ meatwaves we wouldn’t be awash with footage of unwilling mobiks getting dragged into unmarked vans on the streets of Odessa.

We’ve had an entire year and a half for Ukraine to capitalise on the victories at Kharkov and Kherson with nothing to show for it.
This is either a failure of Ukrainian command (i.e. just drive into the minefields lol) or it’s Russian competence at defence. Or it’s both. If the win condition is that Ukraine remains an independent sovereign state then we’ve already conceded that Russia can be allowed to grow in territory out of this war.
We’ve gone from; total zigger withdrawal to the 1991 borders
To: okay but just the 2021 borders now
To: they can have that territory not like we wanted it back anyway

It’s flip flopped messaging. Is this an existential war? Or are we just fricking around a little. Do we really give a shit about the territorial integrity of Ukraine at all costs? Or is it just a big of a meme we’re bored with now.

        >Russia clearly doesn’t have air or naval supremacy
the point is, they started the war with

now, the balance has certainly shifted after 1 cruiser, 1 submarine, 2 corvettes, 3 landing ships, 80 fighter-bombers and oh yeah 1 AWACS
        >bliss
        have been lost

They started the war with neither. They operated as if they did but if they had either naval or air supremacy we wouldn’t have been flooded with downed KA 52s.

Uh, Putin isn't going to accept your "partial" surrender. He wants ALL of your country. He's a madman.

          >we wouldn’t have been flooded with downed KA 52s
a lot of that came from NATO arms shipments

to be fair to the RuAF, they did a halfway decent job of grinding down the AFU IADS; without external assistance, they would have completed the job. not without losses, but it would have been accomplished eventually

Cope however you want. Putins express goal is the seizure of the Ukranian state. Thus, so long as the state survives Russia is failing to meet it's primary war goals and is thus losing.

          >Is this an existential war?
          Not for the west, no.
          >Or are we just fricking around a little
Yes. This should not surprise you, the west has not needed to be serious about war for a lifetime, it's forgotten how.
          >Do we really give a shit about the territorial integrity of Ukraine
Not really, it's a "nice to have"
          >at all costs?
          Lol no
          >Or is it just a big of a meme we’re bored with now.
Yeah pretty much. Once Ukraine made it obvious with their June offensive that they couldn't win even with western kit, the west lost interest.

Honestly this. Either the Russians are trigger happy because they fear something or they'll be scared shitless to shoot at anything in case they might get Gulag'd. I hope Ukraine has a strategy for exploiting this.

Literally chink tier enemy casualty inflation.
Exchange rate is more than likely 1:1 at this point. Especially in the more moronic misadventures of the AFU like the Dnipro crossing or the counterattack on Akhmut.

Someone in Ukrainian high command genuinely thought it would be a really good idea to - instead of concentrating on a breakthrough in Zaprozhia, send a few human waves to die in Akhmut because the headlines would make people onions out.

You’re memoryholing the entire Ukrainian counter offensive at Bakhmut.
With the assault towards Tokmak underway the big brains in Ukrainian command diverted troops towards Bakhmut for a complete failure of a counter offensive to retake the city. It was a slaughter. NATO advisers have slammed it as a complete failure which is probably why it’s been memoryholed so fast.

          >moronic misadventures of the AFU like the Dnipro crossing
anon, Russians are sending waves after waves of men to try and dislodge the AFU from their postion, with the Ukies having artillery on the high ground on the other side of the river. The crossing was an excellent diversion.

The crossing was an excellent diversion for a good month or so. We’re now mid January and the AFU are still bussing waves of convicts across in slow moving ribs to reinforce sustained losses. What the frick are they even doing there?
Russian telegrams claim they’re sent there as some kind of punishment for drunk/asleep at post which is believable when you see the vids of them desperately scrambling out of those fricking ribs the moment a chink drone buzzes overhead.

If RM training surmounts to “when you come under fire stop dead in the water and check on your wounded” then we truly have become a joke of a nation. Half of these drone drop rib vids show the coxswains freak out or deer in the headlights tier stop dead in their tracks for the Russian drone operator to land another hit on the rib.
Guess the term ‘marine’ really has lost all meaning.

can you perchance explain to me why whole VDV brigade, supported by several regular motorized brigade to this day cannot take Krynky from 300 men?

Swamp conditions probably makes armour completely useless but the Russians kept trying because that’s how slavshits operate.
Also when the incursion initially happened Russia sperged out and sent reserves, again because slavshit mentality. Ukrainians then double down, even when the advantage is lost because they too are slavshits.
