Did you know that napalm doesn't give a frick what their plates are rated for, or how cool they think they are? Mine's not as nice as picrel, but it will do.
The moment when your defensive method begins to cause damage to your home and things within it. Part of that is due to skill (protip: don't miss) and so is more of a you problem than intrinsically overkill, but taking rounds that will overpen the intruder and frick up your walls or possessions seems like something you'd want to avoid if you can. As much as I'd really want to use my AR to ensure the homosexual dies fast, I kinda don't want to hit anything else in my house. Been thinking about that, I'd like something more hard-hitting than a handgun but something that won't martyr my pets, drywall, or appliances if they happen to be behind the guy.
Interesting. Might have to see if my LGS has any of these. Forgive a moronic question, but this is causing cavitation right? I know handguns tend to just poke holes in stuff, so I want to compare this to something like a .45 or 9mm

Just take a look at the other videos of the channel
In general a rifle round, hollow-point, soft-tip or ballistic tip will fragment at home-defense distances. Creating a larger mess in the target than pistol rounds, the rifle projectile dumping the energy quickly. Varmint rounds are designed to fragment within e.g. a fox-size target so they are least likely to pass-through.

I once had someone tell me that twenty shells of birdshot at five yards would only be a psychological stop. Twenty. I don't even know how you'd hit someone that many times.

The state of zoomers today. kek >My life is in perile, but muh $40 worth of drywall! Oh noes!
I was more worried about my pets and appliances. Or worse, family members.

here, just gonna have an SD mag or two of varmint rounds on hand.

Any pistol bullet north of 22 penetrates further than 5.56 which starts disintegrating as soon as it hits 1 wall
Have you considered j6 and how easily the criminal activity is redefined to fit the undesired action rather than the preservation of defined rights? I'll take my chances explaining my defensive actions rather than limit my defense
Unpopular opinion, but AR-15 or any similar assault rifle derivative is way over the top. 30+ rounds of 5.56 is extreme overkill when the worst threat anybody is going to realistically face is some brain surgeon-to-be trying to steal your tv
Predictable post. I didn't say anything about not wanting you to own one, I have a bunch of them. They're just clearly in the overkill category for home defence
When one projectile fired caused immense irreparable damage to your house
BBQ sauce
I bought a flamethrower today... Interpret and apply that to your question as you will.

Ah, I found it.
does anyone have some info on the 20mm single shot upper?
Never existed.
>not knowing about the Einhorn 20mm patterned after the M82A2
baka guys c'mon
1:not single shot
B: not 20MM
Pretty sure its a bullshit story.
cool larp

Why not just use varmint rounds in the AR?

You can also... not miss. If you do it won't matter what gun you use or don't there will be damage

Way to miss the rest of the comment, moron.

when the building is structurally compromised.
Depends entirely on where the home is, how it is built, and who you are expecting.
Its fine to blow up 1/3 of the house to keep yourself and the family safe.
When you're leveling the neighborhood as a result of attempting to defend your home
When the risk of collateral damage outweigh the risks of the threat posed
Anything beyond the cannon mounted at the top of my atairs loaded with grapeshot.
>TALLY-HO!
When there's no longer a home left to defend. So napalm, a Mk.19, IEDs... or my b***h ex wife. Wouldn't wish that last one on my worst enemy.
white phosphorous auto turret that pops out of the wall/ground and sprays someone with good ol willy pete. Nalpalm is for pussys
AR15 is overkill, bolt action is underkill, pump action shotgun or pistol caliber carbine is just right
The concept of excessive force does not apply when you are defending your home, vehicle, or family. (Vehicle when occupied)
Depends on the state
Depends on if you observe the law and value it more than what you are protecting.
So depends on whether you're criminally minded, got it
By that logic you're victim minded, and I look forward to your family on the 6:00 news
Have you considered j6 and how easily the criminal activity is redefined to fit the undesired action rather than the preservation of defined rights? I'll take my chances explaining my defensive actions rather than limit my defense

Oh I get it you're an ignorant mouthbreather, got it

Beady Anglo hands typed this post.
>Anglo
So what it's bad to be white in America now?
Congratulations on emerging from your coma
>Beady

That's not how that works, esl.
When your results move from being measured in soft tissue damage to being measured in property damage.
when you fire a second belt from your machine gun just to be sure you got them all.

Hi glowie.
Hey schizo what's up
Predictable post. I didn't say anything about not wanting you to own one, I have a bunch of them. They're just clearly in the overkill category for home defence
Shhhhh. Let them LARP in peace.
This. There is no rational reason why you would need a black rifle for home defense, or anything else, really.
It's rude not to say hello back glowgay.
OP, when there is nothing to defend anymore due to collateral damage, then you went slightly overboard.
Tally-ho lads
there is no overkill there is only open fire and reload
Orbital bombardment.
The point where you're likely to injury or have a nice day if you use the weapon within the confines of your home.
Basically, grenades, flamethrowers, rockets, gas, etc. are where you've crossed the line.
I don't know, but I'm sure /k/ will hear about it on the news when I find out.
If you want your home to be secure, just make it a requirement to Frick ya mudda
Every man should have a cannon filled with grapeshot ready to defend his home. Frick overkill.
When you and your neighborhood do an L-shaped ambush on rowdy youths
anything more than phoning 999 is overkill.
When it overpenetrates into a bedroom and kills/maims your wife/kid/pet
