Not as important when everyone and their mother is carrying around a drone
Range, precision and effective killchain is what matters more

The low ground and the high ground are quite important regionally. You've cut out the important parts of the high ground for Ukraine, which is quite stupid because it would illustrate a likely Russian approach available to them.

But the low grounds offer quite a bit of shelter, both for probing incursions and defence.

Presuming that Russian momentum is stalled, this particular bit of terrain West of Avdiivka is very interesting recce hunting grounds.

And you zoom out further and you can basically figure out from the topography exactly where the new Ukrainian established defensive lines are. Although the new new ukrainian ones are comparably in the lowlands, they themselves are well defended by the highlands, which makes a Russian attack along the northern highlands quite likely.

This hopefully also illustrated that Russian positions in Avdiivka are quite vulnerable to fires from the Westerly hills rather than the other way around, especially when you consider the disparity in accuracy between the two forces.

FAB spam mysteriously stops for the moment

Thanks to those sneaky patriots being moved up, punishing the Russian jets doing a dumb bomb run. But the Ukrainians will eventually consolidate their new defensive positions and the Russians will go back to FABs, their jets safely out of AA range.

Yeah but you just made that up, whereas Russian telegram is claiming the 40k number. At least one regiment seems to have been wiped out in it's entirety.
I hope Russia wins many more "victories" like this one.

Stop talking with an obvious shill.
He will never admit the truth.
And for the low chance he is just an unironic moron he will also never acknowledge the true numbers.
Russia is at ca. 80% on the demilitarization scale.
Were allmost there, I can feel it.
Be happy about the Era of peace and prosperity and friendship that is on the horizon.
Soon putins spincter will get gadaffied and the golden Era will start. With or without russia, that's up to their society.

And who pays him? The Russian government. He's draining their resources for like zero net benefit. In fact, the general shitty standard of shilling from them actually turns people against Russia, here and in other places.

You people were saying the same thing about Severodonetsk. And after that it was Soledar. And then Bakhmut. And then Robotyne. And now it's Avdiivaka. I'm not holding my breath anymore.
