Think about it : if one looks at the history of Russia during the previous centuries, you could summed it up to three periods :
1- Serfdom
2- Bolshevism
3- Capitalist oligarchy (nowadays)
In all these three historical periods, Russia has been a cesspool, a well of decay, unable to sustainably improve their people and civilization towards trust, cooperation, genuine care, human/financial/moral/industrial development
And somehow, there are still a lot of deluded people to believe that Russia is a counterpower, a viable alternative on this planet to the multiples areas of influence
At least, I am happy to see that their "3 day special military operation" ongoing for a year now has been an eye-opener for a lot of people
You're not teaching anything new OP but thanks for the reminder that Russia is a steaming pile of dogshit
They are strong in psychological warfare albeit
I 100% agree with everything you just said, but I can't fail to notice this is literally a 4chan thread.
I know it's full of retards there so you can't have a civil conversation, but try to keep your threads relevant to the board OP.
Should go to PrepHole since it's about a country's history.
Are they really developed?
Their GDP per capita is barely higher than Mexico, for example. And I imagine that existence in Mexico must be pretty shitty if so many of them are so desperate to get into the US. And 50k murders a year is horrific. Basically a warzone even when there isn't a war going on.
I suspect that if Russians had darker skin, no one would call them developed. We just see people who look like they're white and assume they can't be third-world.
The rich parts are nice. Most of the country looks like Detroit or worse.
I don't doubt it, but isn't that true for most third-world countries?
I also think that this is something that feeds into the reverse cargo cult mentality. They probably assume that Western countries are like third-world shitholes, were a few places are nice, and those are the parts they show on TV, but most of it is a load of shacks and tents. IIRC they recently made a documentary showing some neighbourhood that's apparently the poorest place in England and framing it as a big revelation, as if they discovered the secret of what England is really like.
>3- Capitalist oligarchy (nowadays)
Way to slip that in there chang. In Russia the state controls most of the economy directly, and employs something like 30% of the workforce. Doesn't sound very capitalist at all.
It's a pretty comfortable country if you live in Moscow or Petersburg and are inside the top 10% income bracket.
>if one looks at the history of Russia during the previous centuries
I once read Russia never had renaissance
>Russia
>their [..] civilization
.. may we see it?
While Europe was undergoing the social and political transformation that was the Enlightenment, Russians remained stuck in serfdom. Russian culture is that of the serf transported into modern times via communism and now oligarchy.
This is the fundamental difference between Russians and Europeans, even their Slavic relatives in Eastern Europe.
There is no hope for Russia without a total political and cultural transformation and I don't see where that is coming from.

unironically conquer them, become the Great Khan and instill it in them with an iron fist
We should have left Napoleon conquer and eradicate the Russians
It was napoleon's own retarded ideas that cost him success against Puccia back then.
Unfortunately for Russian people themselves, 'muh nooks' present a barrier to the gift of Enlightenment.
nukes have strict shelf life determined by physics, they might have none
Imagine if Russia had developed like the Nordic countries, it'd unironically be the 3rd largest economy in the world
Its called SOVL
