>are you buying your berretta launch edition firearms? Are you ready to be the beta tester for the day 1 patch?
seriously, the fricking shotgun is in tiger stipes for "launch edition". What the frick is going on that there are "launch editions" like video games?
It's the oldest firearm manufacturer, they can do whatever the hell they want to stay relevant
If Beretta wants to do a limited run in a fun colorway to separate some hypebeasts from their money, why not?
I'll buy one in a year once I see how they hold up. The FDE doesn't look the best but the black one looks great.
Those limited editions do go for a lot down the road, or at least MSRP. The main thing is that they look fricking cool. I think the LE 92Xi looks worse than the stock two tone one.
I hate the vertical serrations. The angled ones on the 92X and LTT elite are so much better.
Can somebody please scribble more words onto this firearm? I really don't want to have to carry a separate encyclopedia and safety manual on my EDC belt just to ensure I know how to use my gun
Lmao this. I'm a Beretta collector and this shit is fricking ridiculous
I don't understand the hate on it outside of the excessive writing.
its a design from the 80s being sold in 2023 is the issue. People are b***hing that it is out dated
Remind me, how old is the 1911? The AR-15?
It's old but I think in a new frame it wouldn't be a bad choice for CC. Really all they should've done was put a rail on it, factory night sights, and 15rd flush mags. I really wish Beretta would make the straight grips optional, I strongly prefer the look and feel of the originals
The straight grips ARE optional; if you have 90th percentile Truckasaurus hands and NEED the legacy backstrap just put a set of wraparounds on it.
Buy a metal gun so I can grip plastic? Yeah, no thanks
Unless you're running aluminum grips you're grabnbing something besides metal anyway. Besides, it's not like the 81 series ever came with anything besides plastic grip panels. I'm sure LOK and/or VZ will have G10 warparounds available within a year.
>muh wraparounds
Are fricking garbage, feel like absolute shit, and are only brought up by frickwits like you.
The fricking things aren't even profiled like the standard frame.
I’m getting the preorder bonus.
Anyone else?
The shotgun seems interesting, the .380 that's the same size or bigger than several double stack 9mms is smoothbrained though.
Like a fat woman taking a selfie for Tinder, they used a "favorable" angle for that promo picture to hide that the gun looks like shit
>FIRES WITHOUT MAGAZINE
>BOX CHEETAH
Really odd marketing ploy for Beretta to label the Grip Zone "BOX CHEETAH"
I'd a cheetah box iykwim
Anon... I didn't need this fetish.
too bad
when my housecat licks my arm excessively it hurts. that fricking cheetah has to be taking a layer of skin off that man's face.
why do they keep messing with the trigger guard?
Because a round trigger guard looks stupid next to a rail.
This is visually offensive. I wish they would just return it to the previous configuration.
The 92Xi uses the M9A3/A4 frame instead of the 92X or 92XP style trigger guard. Seems to be a step in the right direction. 92X round trigger guards usually work in the square trigger guard holsters (92FS/M9A1 rail) but not the other way around. It's mind boggling the change, it was due to the forward grip on the trigger guard by the off hand is out of style, but simply not doing that fixes the problem and retains holster compatibility.
>It's mind boggling the change
Its not important but I always wonder what the person look likes who makes these decisions.
cope Reddit Black person cope
I don't like round trigger guards. It looks bad if you actually use the rail, the square means your light pushes right up against it flush.
I don’t even understand where that perspective comes from. What exactly is so “bad” about this?
I mean, we’re not even talking about quality of parts, accusations of MIM short cutting or anything that could matter to the evaluation of quality like we’ve seen for Springfield Armory or Cohen’s nosedive of Kimber. That would be substantially more informed and informative.
"it has a rail so it's ugly"
More like the 80cheetBOx amirite
The Cheetah is being destroyed in the process of manufacturing the 80cheetBOX
The Cheetah has been discontinued for decades in America, and that's the only market that matters.
Beretta understands that their buyers are primarily boomer collectors.
couldn't they write more shit on it?
>interesting colorways
>whining about it
ait stfu
I hope zoomers and whoever the target for these is but putting rails, cheetah boxes, and pistol optics on ancient handgun designs doesn't really do it for me. I could be convinced to buy an original beretta cheetah though.
Gun manufacturers are finally figuring out what FOMO is
