I want that in .22 short just cause it's so cute.
.22mag would be more practical. If you could call these little revolvers practical. But it loses cute factor with the longer cylinder.
[...] >.22 mag
Just a quick reminder that .22 mag and .22LR have identical performance out of barrels less than 4 inches (assuming equal bullet weight). It's only at around 4 inches does the .22 mag start to noticeably gain more velocity compared to .22LR.
I meant it in an ammo availability sort of practicality.

This. The NAA 22LLR is a 1 5/8" barrel .22LR. It's the same length and is lighter than the .22 mag with a 1" barrel. It will meet or exceed the .22 mag velocity with the same grain bullet. And you won't have the excess flash and noise from .22 mag
Can confirm, my 22 mag sounds louder than a subcompact 9 mil due to most of the powder igniting outside the barrel. So it at least sounds like a real gun if you shoot at someone. Oh and it keyholes with every load I've tried
>Oh and it keyholes with every load I've tried
Yeah I forget that's an issue also. Penetration is a concern with these so I wouldn't want keyholing even if you ignore the accuracy problem
They’re not “identical” at all. It’s definitely fuddlore. You can check ballistics by the inch for this. Shorter barrel lengths will neuter both 22mag and 22lr but 22mag still has an edge at all barrel lengths. Is that difference enough to matter? Practically speaking probably not but anyone claiming “they’re the exact same” is wrong.
Bro a .22wmr out of a 3 inch revolver is a 40gr projectile going 1350fps whereas a .22 is doing less than 1000. That .22wmr bullet is going as fast as .22lr out of a 16" rifle barrel.
Redpill me on .22 snubbies
I was looking at the 43c and 351c for a lightweight carry option for when I go running.
Would like to know if it's worth the extra cost to get the .22 magnum version considering their both revolvers with 2 inch barrels.
There are plenty of .22 lr snubbies, bro. S&W has several, the LCR comes in .22 and is my personal favorite, charter arms and I think Taurus has one as well. I would just get whatever you can find used for a good price if you have a LGS that doesn’t have moronic prices.
Anything under .380 is a significant risk to lethality for a pistol and you can pretty much conceal as big as .45 with modern technology. .32/.25/.22 short only if you have to wear very casual, light clothes imo
Define tiny, I pocket carry a Ruger lcp II because of my offices uniform policy. You can't use a holster with slacks and a tucked in shirt and in my experience it's not much bigger than that NAA with a built in holster (I think it's called a black widow). Pic unrelated but God damn do I want one.
What which guns have the best power/size ratio? There should be some that pack a small amount of relatively good bullets and try to keep down the size of grip and such.
The NAA mini-revolvers are unusually high quality construction for their price point, in my opinion. That said they are tiny, and most models are dreadfully slow to reload because you have to unscrew the cylinder axis pin, take the cylinder out, etc. The top-break Ranger model and the swing-out Sidewinder are more interesting in my opinion. The grip is tiny and they're honestly difficult to shoot accurately until you get practice.
They're fun a range toy or if you really need a deep concealment piece but as far as a general purpose carry gun goes I want something with more power than a super-short barrel .22, and also something I can get a better grip on.
Seriously though, I dropped the mag from like, two feet and the little tab holding the baseplate snapped off, so I fixed it with hardware I had lying around. Took the opportunity to file down the follower so it can fit nine instead of eight now. Still yet to encounter a malfunction after I rescued it from a pawn shop since Jamal forgot to clean the gun while he owned it.
Oh lol that sucks. Ever thought of going with like a round head (capped?) nut or something? Might even be able to get it in brass or blued, just might have to trim the bolt a little if it turns out to be too long. Would probably look pretty good.
Don't let naysayers tell you otherwise, but almost every single gun has a use case. If you want a concealed carry, there is nothing wrong with a smaller gun.
Yeah, I carried one as my main EDC for a few years because it was just so handy and easy to take everywhere including in my bathing suit when I went to the lake. I figured it was stupid not to have one because it was either carry that or nothing at all
better than nothing.
I regret selling mine. I carried mine for a few years. I bought it at a pawn shop and never looked up the manual or anything. Turns out in between each chamber in the cylinder there is a safety notch to put the hammer in. I had been carrying it the whole time with the hammer on the back of the cartridge. Felt so negligently stupid afterward and sold it out of embarrassment and shame.
Shouldn't have been to hard on yourself anon, we all make silly mistakes sometimes. You should own up and learn from your mistakes like I did: I bought a 44-40 Italian SAA as my first gun thinking 44-40 was some other way of saying 44 mag/special; Instead of selling it once i realized my mistake, I bought reloading equipment for it and made my own cartridges for it (44-40 was hard to find factory new), learned a bit of the history on the cartridge, and further upgraded the gun.
those NAA revolvers are super good for accidently bumping a round through your hand or into your leg. >gun store owner, know 2 different idiots this happenned to.
i only sell these naa to people who arent old, women, or feeble minded
I like them because my family will go for a hug. They're not patting me down but they'll definitely notice it. One of them little hooker guns you can tuck up in a spot they aint gonna touch.
are tiny wieners any good
People have fetishes for everything, so you could probably find someone who thinks yours is good.
Yes they are cute.
personality is more important. i know because i have a huge dick and women hate me
N

There are zero 500 magnum revolvers that have six shots.
They all shoot loads into women
I want that in .22 short just cause it's so cute.
.22mag would be more practical. If you could call these little revolvers practical. But it loses cute factor with the longer cylinder.
just get this one
Long cylinder not as cute. Do not want.
I meant it in an ammo availability sort of practicality.

Sounds like the debunked fuddlore about .38 and .357.

the same limitations on 22lr apply to 22 mag its not significantly different my man

Does the .22lr version have an extra round or two? If so, I’d go with that one over .22 mag.
8 rounds of 22lr vs 7 rounds of 22wmr
I'll keep that in mind
Still don't know if I can find a solid self defense 22lr for a snubbie
Any recommendations would be appreciated

In my experience with 22 revolvers, really all you get with the 22wmr's is a much, much louder gun, with not much increase in energy to justify it
There is no reason a gun needs to be this small unless you find it cool to have a gun that can hide in your ass
not an argument. i can hide every gun i own up my ass
That just means that you have a huge butthole.
You would be suprised how accomodating the human ass is. Im sure someone is walking around right now with a full sized 1911 in their "secret pocket"..
I can uncomfortably fit a 228 and comfortably fit a lcp between my asscheeks.
5'10" 370lb
I fit my SBR AR in my ass.
Fun? Maybe, I guess?
Good? As far as doing anything you'd need a gun to do? No
I kinda want one to go with my large revolvers…
>Are tiny guns any good?
Better than nothing.
Yes. Pocket guns are great. I think the one in picrel can be inserted into a special belt buckle.
One version of it the grip folds up to the gun, then fits into a leather pocket
“Good” is debatable, “cool” is undeniable.
/toy/
they are good at being tiny.
that revolver's too big for me
you gotta edc this instead
they are perfect
What's the tiniest you'd go for concealed carry without feeling like you're sacrificing too much? Just a typical snub nose revolver?
Anything under .380 is a significant risk to lethality for a pistol and you can pretty much conceal as big as .45 with modern technology. .32/.25/.22 short only if you have to wear very casual, light clothes imo
Are you an 1800s Luisiana prostitute? No? Then probably not.

G26 I guess. 9mm is competing with .380 in subcompacts and .32 seems all but forgotten.
If you can have 9mm in such a small package, is there any point in going lower?
G18 I would say. Can't beat a full auto pistol.
send a pic of your hand
Bond arms derringer in .357 magnum.

Go for something a little bigger anon. I like mine.
>bolt and nut on base of mag
What in god's name is going on with your fricking Taurus anon?
That's my full-auto switch.
Seriously though, I dropped the mag from like, two feet and the little tab holding the baseplate snapped off, so I fixed it with hardware I had lying around. That's a good idea. I really half-assed it the first time, but it just werks. I do kinda like how shitty it looks though. It's a conversation starter.
Taurus PT22 Poly.
What gun? Filename isn't pulling anything up
why are you gay motherfrickers obsessed with dicks and penises?
> gay motherfrickers
> dicks and penises
you've answered your own question, moron.
because they are gay. well i guess some gays hyperfocus on them juicy colon exits.
It only there was an active general solely for manlet caliber pistols

I could find a.22lr useful as CC. Stops dags and street rabble and keepsme out of court moren likely.
better than nothing.

Lel, did you not even finger frick the gun and notice the extra notches everywhere? Did you think they were for decoration?

You have a better chance if you carry around a cup full of bees and hope the guy is allergic to them.
Not the bees!
I like them because my family will go for a hug. They're not patting me down but they'll definitely notice it. One of them little hooker guns you can tuck up in a spot they aint gonna touch.
I only have shot small Berettas when it comes to smaller guns but they were very good. Models being 950B and 71 22lr respectively.
they're really fun to plink with
