it's not about handedness. it's about the ability for an operator to be equally effective when firing from either shoulder. in a combat scenario, you aren't always able to fire from your dominant side without over exposing yourself to fire
is this rifle (chambered in .308 or .223) any gud at all? it's the only AR style rifle you can get in my euro shithole but I don't think it's worth the money over a bolt action, specifically for hunting.
Both Schmeisser and Haenel have tried to get government contracts - you know the Haenel story. I'd guess they're both decent weapons, but absolutely no need for americans to import them. > it's the only AR style rifle you can get in my euro shithole
The frick, where is that.
Well that is peculiar. The interesting question for you is, how good is the customer support of haenel for you in romania. >I don't think it's worth the money over a bolt action, specifically for hunting
Depends how you're hunting and how much money you have. Some germans use auto rifles for driven hunts, but we have a 2 round limit for hunting with those so they're not popular. Far more use quick repeaters, which they also use for all other kinds of hunting. Many of them also think .308 is a bit undersized and prefer strong 8x57 loads or even bigger calibres (for boar at least), which you rarely find in automatic rifles.
Probably non-existent tbh, you can only buy through authorized resellers here as far I know and you're stuck with them for any issues. Hey we have the 2 round limit too, talk about dumb legislation : (
Always hated the idea of having a gun that might just stop working and I'd be at the whims of two companies at once whether I get any spare parts.
I think Haenel is available in America as Caracal or something. Its a UAE company who uses a German name in europe, having bought the old Haenel for the name, mostly.
I do think they produce in germany as well. No idea where the american caracals come from. I wouldn't be surprised if there were certain quality differences between german and uae manufactured ones.

Haenel is the budget brand of Merkel hunting and sports arms, also used for the MIL/LEO lineup. It is owned by Caracal and the guns are built in the same building as Merkel guns in Suhl, Germany. >t. /k/raut gunsmith who did his apprenticeship there
How do they compare to Daniel Defense?
.. looking for one in 300blk and Haenel and DD are the only reasonable ones available (without waitung a lot), priced roughly the same.

>As an American I am profoundly confused looking at three buttons
The real question here appears to be whether you are moronic... but I think we know the answer.
From experience this thread is either made by a brit or somebody living in a former soviet state (take your pick). Neither of those are used to having the freedom to choose anything so I'm assuming it's the selector.
buttons, those are magical kraut complications.
seeing as they can't figure out how to frick up the fire controls by adding unnecessary parts, they stick shit all over the outside.
fricking germs.
Those are just ambi controls you dumb Black person.
About 1 in 10 men are left handed
Wouldn't it be more cost effective to just make mirrored rifles
it's not about handedness. it's about the ability for an operator to be equally effective when firing from either shoulder. in a combat scenario, you aren't always able to fire from your dominant side without over exposing yourself to fire
Also some people might just be more comfortable operating the controls a certain way that ambi controls allow them to.
u a boomer or no gun?
>ameritard finds out left handed people exist
Do ze Germans also put braille markings around the controls for blind people?
We probably should, we do export guns to america after all.
>German company makes ambidextrous gun
>hurr durr wat dese buttunz foh
Post guns, I doubt you're american.
>blind people shouldn't have guns
Gungrabber commie Black person
That grip. It’s like buying an M5 with a cheetah steering wheel cover.
Yes.
ameritard finds out left handed people exist
Do murri/k/an /k/ommandos ever import current Haenel & Schmeisser ARs? Are they any good compared to US-made ones?
Psa mogs haenel
Hahahahaha

They do import the exact gun to the us but it is the gay version (non chrome lined barrel and semi auto bolt carrier)
Lookup B&T CR223
The Caracal 816 or 814?

Nope. There's a handful of us here apparently.
they're good. better than most American made rifles.

damn, burgers are so stupid.
there's one extra button, does semen leak from your butt?
>does semen leak from your butt?
No, my gun oil does it for me
>DPMS cut
Oh no no no!
What's wrong with that?
At least they didn't make their own pattern and have no parts compatibility with other AR10 patterns.

As an American I want all of the non us members here to know that the OP is a moron and doesn't speak for us all
>mag release, bolt release, selector
What extra buttons are confusing you, anon?

You guys are moronic if you think even half the Anon posting here aren't chinks
k is run by glowies from Eglin
