I wouldn't buy a cheap gun if I planned to shoot it in any volume. It may work, but that doesn't mean it's not made of scrap and will degrade 3 times faster than a good gun
>buy shitty Hi-Point >Zamac components begin to wear off after 500 rounds >copious magazine issues >it's held together with a fricking Philip's screw and some roll pins
I am objectively correct. Internals made of softer, cheaper metal will not last as long
I ccd this when I was poor. Never had any issues. I believe if taurus improved this gun with a second iteration, it would sell well. Sort of what ruger did with the lcp. There will always be demand for pocket 380s.
I have a Ruger Security 9. Its what I use as my HD gun (it lives on my nightstand). Its fine. It goes bang every time, and fits in G19 holsters.
We've been able to manufacture high quality guns cheaply for a long time. It's surprisingly the level of quality you can get for $300 or so these days.
No, but I have around 20 Hi Point C9s and C380s that I bought for less than a hundred dollars each (most for $50-$75) in 2018 and early 2019 (before Covid fricked the gun market up). I've polished the feedramps, removed the magazine safety, and replaced the trigger spring on each one, then ran a tuned mag or two through each one to test them.
I'm storing them while I wait for the next gun buyback. I've seen some buybacks where they give up to $250 for each handgun, so I could potentially make a pretty decent return on my investment. Even if they are only giving $150 per handgun I'll still double my money.
As a side bonus, if society collapses before I sell them than I'll have 20 guns to hand out to friends or neighbors, or to barter with for water/food/supplies.
"Invest in precious metal" they said, I'd rather invest in precious potmetal thank you very much.
The shotguns deserved their reputation. But the handguns? They're genuinely fine.
Turkish law is a lot less restrictive on shotgun manufacturing so that's how you have like a thousand shotgun manufacturers in turkey but only like 5 handgun factories.
The code has been cracked for polymer striker fired whatevers. Glock might have been revolutionary 30 years ago but no longer.
40*
I can afford expensive guns so I use expensive guns. there is really no reason to use a turkish pistol if you have the money to buy anything else

Sounds like consoomer cope.
>Degrades 3x faster
That IS made up, but is it relevant? I have never heard of a pistol barrel being shot out through use.

I like my tx22, ive put over 2000 rounds through it already and no hang ups
also got a taurus 1911 i got cheap back in 2009, also never had an issue with it, but are just range toys

Same. I shoot and shoot with a suppressor until it gets so dirty it stops working. Then I clean it and do it again. It just keeps going.
They had more utility when ammo was also cheap
I used to until I realized it's better to just spend the extra money, glock and walther not withstanding

>anyone else a hoarder?
no
does anyone have that screenshot of some anon talking about buying multiple cheap guns to hide everywhere in his house?

I will be hard, but fair.
I will rule my block with an iron fist, clad in a velvet glove.
Turkshit will break.
