Ukraine has committed about 10% of its trained and properly equipped counteroffensive units. The fact that they’ve liberated anything with these late stage shaping operations is kind of amazing
i feel like things are gonna get weird because Ukraine is waiting for russia to commit its own reserve to a counteroffenssive before using the other western brigades, but Russia might not even have anything to commit.

Honestly, the hilarious collapses of some of the earlier fronts (remember the northern front and the column inching towards Kyiv?) has kind of helped the vatnik shills because they've set up unrealistic ideas of how quickly these things can proceed. Now so long as the Russian line isn't disintegrating instantaneously they can claim that Ukraine is bogged down, when in reality things are just as bad as they were with Kherson last year.
