Any uses to a featureless stock outside of being compliant with NYC and CA laws? Only one I could think of would be it gives similar feel to classic rifle stocks, but I've never handled one so I don't even know that for sure.

There is not a single use or benefit I can imagine other then their ability to be purchased in restricted states.
I live in NY and when I bought an AR I had to get it with one of those stubby cut off pistol grips but the gunstore guy just left the original grip in the box because "it came with the gun and its yours".
Do what you need to buy the gun you want then take that shit off the second you get home like everyone does.
It's a humiliation tactic, nothing more.
>humiliation tactic
not everything is a form of torture made by the government specifically to target you.
Wrong.
Yeah it makes the gun safer
Not everything? Perhaps.
This? Clearly a humiliation tactic.
Featureless stocks on ARs constitute cruel and unusual punishment, but generally I like things like thumbhole sporter stocks
This shit exists because they wanted to ban the AR by name and it didn't work, hence the list of "features". The weird stocks and the little chode grip were conceived by gunowners as workarounds. And yes, these laws exist to discourage, inconvenience, and indeed humilate.
no, it's the product of ignorance. lawmakers want to ban le ebil assault rifles, but when they try to write a law banning them people just work around whatever the law says is banned.
The fightlite is the only one I like because of its kooky proprietary system and wooden stocks fit
The fightlite scr stocks are actually good
too bad they require proprietary parts.
Just the BCG. The bolt, trigger, upper, it's all the same.
I want one in .308. why don't they make it? I bet it would sell like hot cakes.
After seeing so many utterly tricked out rifles that actually looks kinda neat. Doesn't look like it actually WORKS great but there is a touch of elegance to it.
>gives similar feel to classic rifle stocks
That isn't a good thing. Traditional rifle stocks suck.
> classic rifle stock
they're shit and have terrible ergos.
just throw that abomination in the trash
how come there isn't some unscary wooden rifle with a pinnable large magazine designed to be easily clip loaded so californians don't have to shame themselves like this?
So much humiliation in this thread. Grown men are made to look ridiculous. For what? For nothing
