Any good spots you guys willing to share? Looking to go camping and foraging.

Any good spots you guys willing to share? Looking to go camping and foraging. I'm a Mbutthole and have a soft spot for New England but I can travel further for something new if it's worth it.

Massachusetts is the best anyways so I would recommend you stay there. Nothing to see to the north. Maybe check out Connecticut if feeling adventurous it's pretty great.

This, you could try New Jersey if you're feeling really adventurous.

      >le epic I don't like your politics so stay there and don't go anywhere fun
Why must we be like this? I'm not a liberal if that's what you're talking about, it's just where I live, I love my state despite some of its shittier laws.

Mbuttholes isn't a political issue. It's a deep seated culture issues with how big of buttholes people from mass are

In all seriousness, I love all of New England, Massachusetts included, I'd love nothing more then to spend the whole summer in some old beach cottage in sagamore or manomet. Unfortunately the state is run by demons and the inhabitants are a cancer.

I was born in Mass (Springfield) and considering the American Revolution started in my birth state, I am absolutely disgusted by how milquetoast communists and parasitic Puerto Ricans have taken it over. Every time I go back and visit my dad laments what has become of his home, and complains about the Puerto Ricans there, but insists he isn't racist. EVERYONE there fricking does that. They know the problem but refuse to acknowledge it directly without fear of being labelled that no-no word. Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire are all on a different level compared to the other 3 New England states. The problem is you have to travel through the cringe that is israelite York and/or Mass, Connecticut to get to the promised land of the northern-most Northeast states.

    Whites are good
Green mountain national forest is good
Mt. Washington (west mass) has a dope little cabin and some nice views
Pisgah state park is good for a day of meandering through the woods
There's a ton of really nice little day hike spots between Route 2 and the NH border
The New England trail is easier than the long trail or the Appalachian trail. Same with the MSG. Both are good quiet through hikes.
Look around for rail trails, dropping yourself at one end and biking into town is a great way to spend a day and they often have nice little patches of untrafficed woods along them.
If all else fails just look around for shit on Google maps. Tag places that look neat and then go check them out when you have a day off.

mount monadnock NH. from CT and went camping + hiking there a lot as a kid in scouts

Go up the north side of you do Monadnock. You don't have to pay for parking at those trailheads and you'll encounter less unprepared r-slurs.
Those trails are also nicer. I would recommend pumpelly if you're up for a long hike.

I've camped at Savoy Mountain State Forest in northwest MA and Groton State Forest in NE VT. Both are pretty neat places with a lot of hiking opportunities. Also Acadia when I was a kid but I imagine it's super jammed this time of year.

Pic related is from a bog at Savoy.

I'm thinking of going to Acadia in early August. I realize it'll be crowded as frick but I still want to go. Anyone have recommendations for shit to do or see? I'm thinking about camping on the island and doing some kayaking along the coast.

I can recommend two great loops.
1)The Rte. 93 North to Rte. 93 South Loop (Also locally known as the Xbox trail)
      2) A noose.
