The only way to make a subsonic round more powerful is to add mass. You're looking at 458 SOCOM.
There are better options than 8.6 copout. .338 Spectre will fit in an AR-15 with a SPC bolt, and .375 Raptor is the true full-power blackout equivalent. I really don't understand why 8.6 exists, it's Spectre firepower in a Raptor package.

why rolling block single shot though, the Pfeifer and the one in your pic already fulfill a similar enough niche.
What'd be more interesting would be a forward - opening bolt action. the magazine could thus sit under the barrel when locked instead of behind it, keeping the great barrel length to OAL ratio of the single shots.
