How will they talk themself out of this one?
It was to be dismantled anyway. Hohols just wasted HATO gibs on a floating scrapheap and saved glorious puccia the need to scuttle it themselves. Rossiya wins again.
Stupid kholkhols sank ship set to embark to scrap heap in April but for now he was being used to ferry Ukrainian POWs between Sevastopol and Melitopol. Kholkhols have committed act of terrorism against innocent civilians who spent several years training to be naval sailor.
How? >“At night, the attack by Ukrainian formations continued. Nine unmanned boats left Odessa and the mouth of the Danube River in the direction of Crimea.
>Four of them were discovered by Russian sailors at the entrance to Lake Donuzlav. Fire was opened on them, as a result of which four drones were destroyed.
>One of drones exploded right next to the side of the boat, damaging it. There is no data on the extent of damage at this time. Two patrol boats, two helicopters and a fighter jet were sent to search for the four remaining drones. During the operation they were hit and scuttled.”
Seems like the two Patrol boats, two helicopters and 4 special marine trained dolphins already neutralized the four drones
I don't see any bodies in the water on the drones thermals, so they're either dead, still inside or getting a practical lesson on the nature of ballistic arcs.
That includes R&D I presume? The unit price is way lower.
The first one costs around 1 million $ for each, mb after mass production starts cost dropped a little bit
do we know what communication system they're using to guide the drones? certainly not whatever protocol a regular consumer drone uses. Think it's starlink terminals purchased by the US DoD?
>We're in the timeline where social media campaigns result in crowd funding UAV and USV which lead to actual Russian tanks and boats being destroyed with actual losses. >you can point to those on fire tank crews or drowning Russian seamen and say "I did that" before soundly falling asleep.

Bro, cities were croud funding military equipment in WW2, nothing changed only publicity

Fricking based. I have been donating to the naval drones fund and the video of the Tarantul reminded me it's been too long since I last did. But a whole FPV drone at a time is fricking based, anon.
If Norway donated 5%of its oil fund it would be ca 70B$... its not gonna, but they are ramping up both donations and production. They are few billions in by now. I love how Russia is underestimating Europe constantly. And now they stole the moment of surprise from China as they woke up European weapon machine. Its over. The world war has been averted.

Europe has to push Russia's shit in Ukraine to prove you can't get away with this shit. If Russia wins, and they hold onto Zap, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, the lesson will be that you can soak up a few hundred thousands lives and persevere, you will just outlast Europe and America. They see that as a weakness and they don't value human life like we do. Paradoxically, Americans and Europeans actually value the lives of Chinese and Russians far more than their actual leadership does.

I would love to agree but I think it's only need delayed. Western political donors what to offshore production to anywhere that has low wages so just as western corporate greed created the China threat we will see them keep producing more powerful enemies so they can pay $0.50 an hour instead of $15.

That's nuts as you have an actual body count since they use those FPV UAV's all the damn time to stop armor pushes in Krinky and Andkiivka.
These things are like next level artillery shells, and drive directly to their targets. We need to design some that can fire the rocket then return to base as well as that'd save on resources.

Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it. As often as it comes it will carry you away; morning after morning, by day and by night, it will sweep through.” >"The understanding of this message will bring sheer terror. The bed is too short to stretch out on, the blanket too narrow to wrap around you."

Fascist is a public state religion and jutting into your lives at every moment. Russia has been very relaxed, and more or less said "stay out of politics, and you can do anything. Just don't criticize anything. Pretend you don't have any opinions". Then Putin is trying to half-ass some kind of public fascist movement, but the lethargic Russians have been trained to be docile for over 20 years so it's hardly taking. So they're getting half-assed fascism that even Putin doesn't believe in, then mafia state oligarchy, then USSR and Imperial Russian nostalgia all rolled into one.

Please stop misusing the term 'fascism'.
The word you're looking for is 'dictatorship'. Russia is a petrostate. It has petrostate politics.
The current Russian political landscape has a lot of fascist element. They don't have a monolithic ethno national identity to prop up as a master race, but they're still trying. The obsession with a past glory, "righting wrongs" done to them by outside forces, it all fits. You can argue that it's all just the superficial set dressing of a basic authoritarian dictatorship, but that's what fascism is. It's just the aesthetics of a political movement, the details are mostly irrelevant.

A lot of that can be applied to many different ideologies.

Vaguely, in bits and pieces, sure. Fascism is intentionally vague its concrete beliefs. It's a populist movement, so it's only real goal is to whip up a population into a nationalistic fervor. To that end it needs to be pretty broad and not get caught up in the small details. People still argue if the nazis would be pro or anti gun ownership because it just wasn't a part of the philosophy. The state said what people wanted to hear and did what secured itself the most power.

>Fascism (/ˈfæʃJzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement,[1][2][3] characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.

That online dictionary definition is bogus. Fascism requires an organic view of the economy that Russia lacks. Using that view, you could argue that ANY historical government system was "fascist", from the Ancient Babylonians to the Middle Ages.

>divine right of kings and all that
If you think a theocratic monarchy = fascism, I'd suggest never talking about political structures ever again. >explain?
Fascism runs on a very specific ideology of how the government, economy, and population operate together - specifically as a single unit. It is collectivist in nature and draws inspiration from an analogy to body organs.
Russia is a neo-imperialist state that has contempt for its own population, much of which are conquered populations in thrall to Muscovy. >but that's fascism
No, you're an idiot.

I wouldn't call them fascist, because fascists at least follow some kind of system. Russia is run more like a cartel, with Soviet-style repression, but on the scale of a whole country.
That's not the point though. Even if Russia isn't communist, Stalin was a communist, and given his genocides and destruction of the Orthodox Church, they shouldn't be blessing him, and no Russian patriot or nationalist should look up to him. For frick's sake, he's not even one of them. He's a Georgian who murdered tens of millions of Russians. In fact, no one has murdered more Russian than him, throughout history.
>Still, I can't fathom how they're trying to reconcile communism and Christianity.
That because you are ignorant. Communism is a secular derivative of the new testament, christians founded micro-communist societies in the form of collectively owned farms long before marx was born. F.ex when the puritans landed in america, their first year was spent in a collective farm system where nobody owned anything. Nothing and nobody worked, and they almost starved to death the first year.

They starved because they came hilariously unprepared. They didn't bring enough food supplies to last them for the foreseeable future. They just assumed they would grow wheat on the new england coast and be fine because "god protects". It had nothing to do with the colony being commies.

Medical equipment is really almost more important than the armed drones. Very little money can literally save a good man from dying. I like the FPVs because they enable ukies to stay hidden and yet suppress russians and deny them everything from logistics to life.
We as citizen collective have an insane economic power. And Ukraine is now proving how it can use it insanely effectively. What they are pulling off is stuff of legends and I am helping writing it by simply Diverting 300$ monthly from booze, trash food and some saving into this effort. Until there is no war, but peace. Amen
I am supporting @vozimdrony who is constantly developing them and has network of Czech 3dprinter volunteers as production base. They are around 300$ a piece.both FPV and bombers. Then I donate to dronynemesis.cz that's a larger one time action to get 10k drones. They are some 400$ a pop and not just FPVs.often I split the budget to very small donations for a few drones and mavics to concrete units. That's where you pretty much get an FPV with your name on it and can see a result video of it blowing shit up.
I donated also to ukranian and norwegian producers like wild hornets and some vikings. But to @vozimdrony I donate monthly. Altogether at least 300$a month, sometimes more. It means I am currently not saving any money. All surplus goes towards me not having to go catch a 152mm ina few years in order to protect my family.
Those are my true words and as such are beyond contestation.

you see, silly americanyets, ship was due for the decommission, the hoholis helped decommission ship and wasted the expensive drones. A massive loss for decadent west
Aerial surveillance and then engaging them with weapons like CIWS that have actually competent fire control systems unlike the Russians. If they are further away you can even dunk on them with anti-ship missiles.
stabilized autocannon defensive systems, watch standers that are trained, sensors that work. this is why practically all US vessels have bushmaster mounts or now the more advanced (essentially) IFV turrets on them to obliterate these kinds of threats.
>stabilized autocannon defensive systems, watch standers that are trained, sensors that work. this is why practically all US vessels have bushmaster mounts or now the more advanced (essentially) IFV turrets on them to obliterate these kinds of threats.
Show me these new turrets. The only thing I've seen in common use are dual .50 cal mounts (unstabilized) manned by a seamutt using nothing but xir's eyeballs to scout for targets.
EW + half-decent gun CIWS: you can use missile CIWS too, but it's a colossal waste for such a slow target.
These boat drones are completely ineffective against any vaguely competent opponent, they combine the weaknesses of torpedoes and ASMs with none of the strengths.
US were worried about swarms of small fast unmanned explosive boats 20 years ago and to that end upgraded lots of gear for close to shore(littoral) operations and tested a lot of various cheap and small solutions to dealing with them, from Hellfire missiles to 70mm APKWS rockets, among other things.
>US were worried about swarms of small fast unmanned explosive boats 20 years ago
Wrong. The USN was worried about manned iranian speedboats ambushing them in the strait of Hormuz. The larger speedboats carry C-701s and autocannons/HMGs and are a great deal larger than a robot jetski drone. Smaller ones are your regular 23" open fishing boat with big motors.
these little guys can supposedly hit surface targets, I'd be surprised if we don't get launchers like this designed exclusively for surface targets too
It's weaving and going at like 20+ knots while being thrown around due to waves anon. I believe we had a look at the guns mounted on the intelligence ship that got hit last year and they were literally body stabilized 14.5mm guns. Like, you got into a little cradle and kept them pointed at the target with your body weight and legs.
Also they're just fuel, plastic explosive (which isn't sensitive to PKM rounds), some control stuff and an engine. There's no person to shoot.
It's a boat size target withing a couple hundred meters moving at 40kmh. There's no reason to miss even a single shot, eventually you'll hit something important and stop it.
The same way you would deal with torpedoes, because that's what these things basically are; just cruising along at WW2 speed instead of being underwater hellfires like the current US standard.
this was a Tarantul-class missile boat. it's supposed to have two CIWS to shoot down missiles and aircraft with. theoretically it should be able to shoot these USVs, they're giant 30mm gatling cannons for fricks sake
meanwhile a US Navy destroyer intercepted a Houthi missile with its 20mm Phalanx
there could not be a more timely illustration of the contrast between American and Russian military capability at this point
It's Russia, those guns have probably been rusted in place for 10 years at this point.
Their biggest issue remains corruption at every level but they have no interest in solving that.
I liked the part of the Moskva service report, outlining that they didn't have enough fire extinguishers. ie the officers or soldiers kept stealing them to sell on the black market, or the officers kept the money that was supposed to be spent on them. If they can't do something as stupid as keep enough fire extinguishers how could they keep anything else in service?
I can almost sorta kinda see supporting Russia, but how do they square up all the insane corruption and inefficiency? Why would you suport such a terrible state?
Like most Russian weapons, AK630 looks good on paper but has a terrible track record. Yes big powerful 30mm guns. They also rely on the ship's central fire control which dates to the late 70's. Moskva was from a similar era and had similar problems. Even in good repair its systems just aren't capable of dealing with modern threats. They were shooting at the boats but it looked like small arms. The Bass Tilt radar might not have even seen those USVs.
>theoretically it should be able to shoot these USVs, they're giant 30mm gatling cannons for fricks sake
They probably have 0-degrees of gun depression so cannot aim at targets below the horizon
100% he was laid up in hospital, and he may very well be missing half his body. He's still in the hospital and may never leave. They'll just never talk about him ever again. Russian command is so top heavy they can lose these people, and maybe even Gerisimov and keep on trucking. Only Putin would cause a proper disruption. This isn't a proper first world army at all.
It would not shock me that Valery Gerasimov actually got wounded and he's in the hospital too. When he recovers they will just pretend nothing happened, not that he narrowly avoided death and spend 4 months and several painful surgeries to recover.
In contrast, Zaluzhny's OP-ED was completely brutally honest, and that gave me a lot of respect for him. He could have bullshit and spun, but he laid out a rational plan why the counter-offensive failed, and how Ukraine can succeed in the future. (hint: it's more of everything).
1. It's not strange for public officials to just frick off randomly like this.
2. He may have been wounded, and they won't bring him back until he's fully recovered. I think he got wounded previously 2 years ago right? He should stop testing his luck since Ukraine has him as a major target.
3. He's dead and Russia will just never mention him again.
>1 big and two semi big autocannons
I am so confused.
How is it possible for a ship like this to be taken out by half a dozen small drones, that aren't even that fast.
Are they not stabilized or something, the frick is going on there?
well it would require this ship to be able to detect these drones, and for the guns to actually have ammo in them and for their to be someone to use the guns
Funnily enough, this missile cutter was designed to basically do the same thing the drones are doing today - sneak up and swarm bigger ships that get too close in a close-in suicidal attack, except this one carried anti-ship missiles.
>except this one carried anti-ship missiles.
Why did the Russians bother to continue to use expensive hard-to-replace Soviet ships that have a mainly anti-ship role, in a sea against a nation that no longer has a navy?
And that small problem of sanctions. Getting consumer-level computer chips and drones to the Ruskies is one thing, full-on warships will be certainly cause the West to call foul.
I'm a kind compassionate person, and believe any surrendering troops should be treated with full accordance of international law, that we should not use excessive force, and should not endanger civilians needlessly. But I'm also of the mindset that you have to accept a little evil and get your hands dirty if you want to survive, and we're past the point of playing nice-nice. Any troops in Ukraine are fair game, and if they don't want to die needlessly they can resign or surrender.
>We've watched infantry suiciding themselves with grenades at the slightest inconvenience for years.
Do you think the Navy mobiks aren't indoctrinated into the same attitude?
they'll probably just minimize the loss and say it's just a random schooner that happened to have missiles on it and Russia has hundreds (they will not post them but believe them)
Stupid kholkhols sank ship set to embark to scrap heap in April but for now he was being used to ferry Ukrainian POWs between Sevastopol and Melitopol. Kholkhols have committed act of terrorism against innocent civilians who spent several years training to be naval sailor.

You serious homie? Russia has been throwing rusted T55s and mobik meatwaves at hyper-dimensional fortryss ayylmaovka since october without even capturing the trash heap they wanted so much. They lose 10+ tank and 20+ tubes on average EVERY DAY. They burned through famed soviet stockpiles in less than two years and are now deepthroating north korea for their surplus. If this is Ukraine losing, then I shudder to think what would winning look like.

>Literally not true and they passed it like an hour ago. Turns out orban is a pussy and won’t do shit if you just threaten him with cutting of his EU bucks.
I need a source on this.
they do but it's entirely possible they just quietly slipped them into the water behind enemy lines with saboteurs or just quietly snuck under friendly civilian craft.
trucks, bribes and glowBlack person shit. Like the other answer is despite 24/7 surveillance with pretty advanced, if Russian equipment they manages to slip multiple drones completely unnoticed given the ship was caught almost unawares.
The lead up is even more lust-provoking around 1:38 >surrounded by gushing salty moisture >huge gaping hole >so hot it's unmistakable on infrared >she's wobbling, just can't take this kind of a pounding >frick, double- and triple-teamed >powerful thrust comes in targeting the penetration she just received >explosive climax at 1:43 >after things calm down, it's time for a smoke
If there's any ukies watching this, you should try puting some smoke launchers on the drones, so subsequent drones are harder to hit by defenders. Since the drones have thermal cameras they'll see through regular smoke, the moronic vatniks shooting at them won't
it's always so funny when there's a happening and suddenly all the vatnik posting vanishes while they figure out their narrative and then suddenly an hour later the board is flooded with vatnik posts with very similar wording
remember the Blayt Hall Putsch when the board was eerily quiet for three days
>remember the Blayt Hall Putsch when the board was eerily quiet for three days
A not insignificant amount of propaganda shit posting was actually done by Prigozhin's own personal bullshit farms, and I'm sure they were not given any word of the rebellion, so had no idea what to do so they stayed quiet until they got word. Then DoD have their own shill propagandist farms too. Work is split between Russians working for cheap in some office in St. Petersburg, and the rest outsourced to fricking Indians.
All this shit done for the cheap too. They ain't sending their best. The saddest part is that another not insigificant amount is just dissastisifed goofs who fall for far right or far left thinking and do it for FREE.
That's always been their M.O. Target groups of the disenfranchised and terminally gullible. Any kind of conspiracy theory group is perfect because they're full of schizophrenics who will believe anything. Once you convert them they'll do 10 times the work of any professional shill, they'll do it for free, and they'll bring their friends in on it too.
yeah no shit russia has a manpower advantage, but wasting 45% of your gdp on a moronic war while tens of thousands are dying, losing your main source of income and having to sell for cheap to the poos, shrinking workforce, people fleeing the country, infrastructure is falling apart, and so on, is not going to create a good outcome in the long run. They're speed running Afghanistan.
And the whole "muh evil west" narrative kind of falls apart when russians realize nobody gives a frick about them anymore, it baffles me how russians don't realize they're irrelevant to 99% of the planet
That's their whole problem. They are brought up on the whole Russia superpower relevant kool-aid. Then they realize they live in a backwards HIV infested hell hole and no one gives two shits about them. The only thing they have is a disproportionately big military compared to their economy and on order to get some respect they start swinging that around.
I told you guys. I told you in the other stupid thread that got deleted. The boats get closer and closer, the air superiority spreads further and further across Crimea.

Indians remained a neutral country that leaned towards USSR in the Cold War, and they got tons of support and Russian tech. They see the Russians as a model military to aspire to, and the USSR/Russian empire as a counter balance to USA's empire.

What? The Ukrainians blew up helos and a jet with drone boats?
I'm in awe at how they can just handwave away the video of the enormous hull breach from the POV of the *second* impacting unmanned boat with >There is no data on the extent of damage at this time.
The rest of it has that "after the play, Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln returned to the White House separately" sort of feel, but "no data"? Inability to raise anybody on the ship over comms isn't a data point, doesn't mean anything? lmao

This is the most fun part. Russians denying reality.
Russian milbloggers used to be a great resource, since OPSEC is such a strange concept to them that they'd get reports from the front lines. But after Prigozhin's rebellion and our boy Igor Girkin got arrested, the milbloggers have been effectively neutered.
>Losing ANOTHER ship to a nation with no navy while fighting a ground war that is not really war but a special military operation that was supposed to last 2 weeks
Lol
When was the last time the US lost a ship due to enemy fire? Nam'? WWII?
The war is shifting to attrition, and who can mobilize and reform the fasted and this is a 2-way street; Russia has been upgrading, improving and getting their act together constantly at the same time. They hustled like crazy to boost military production and bring in foreign-sourced weapons. They mobilized an army of lawyers and consultants to set up sanction evasion on a MASSIVE scale to the point EU’s sanction inspectors admit that they literally don’t have the resources to go after every evasion scam.
Putin is flogging all parts of the economy into action for the war and the FSB is up everyone’s asses to control corruption and un-frick their military. The Pentagon made the analysis early in the war that the Russian’s problems were self-inflicted and that they will solve them over time. Ukraine is also improving but they’re starting MASSIVELY behind Russia in this contest.
These airframe and naval losses look bad, but they are only a small part of the bigger picture.
>Losing ANOTHER ship to a nation with no navy while fighting a ground war that is not really war but a special military operation that was supposed to last 2 weeks

causing over-confidence. It's an uphill battle for Ukraine and this is still Russia's war to lose.
If Russia wins this war after Ukraine has fought to the last combat-capable individual, you've got the definition of a pyrrhic victory. They won't be able to replace their losses.
To boot, Poland has said that, if Ukraine does not succeed, they'll invade Russia.
There's trillions in oil, gas, minerals, and other resources in Ukraine that Russia wants. Remember, it's not a normal state but a crappy oligarchy with an economy built to only service like 500 people at most with everyone else being suckers. All that they lost is a few hundred thousand drunken losers from rural villages and the quality of life decreased for the rest, but they'd still see it as a win. Lives rae cheap for Russia. With those resources, they can partner with China and rebuild.
So all that shit about invading Taiwan? The expected response is a massive sanctions program and naval blockaide of goods, especially oil. Now what if Russia has Ukraine's oil/gas on hand and now can ship it to China? Russia-China create a perfect ecosystem that they can survive indefinitely.
Now? Sure, during war time they can't be replaced. But a trillion is a lot, and they will just buy hardware from China post war, and then import millions of Africans and Pajeets as workers.

anyway your concern trolling is noted. do you have anything else to add?

>why couldnt they build subs, aircraft carriers, cruisers, new tanks or fifth gen aircraft before the war?
All that shit is expensive, Russia simply cannot afford that
That's why mobiks don't get body armor or T-14s
>Russia has been upgrading, improving and getting their act together
They are literally using T-55 tanks in this very moment
And I said "T-55" no "T-55A"
The quality of their army is getting worse, but there's always at least 400,000 of them at all times, with no obvious weak points. They are never going to run out of men or armor ever. They are perfectly fine sacrificing every single mobik and every single convict, and every single t-55 and bmp to achieve this. The question is, can Ukraine catch up?
The front is not maintained static by mobiks and WW2 tanks alone, but by a combination of minefields, arty, CAS, and lack of ukrainian CAS. Ukraine has made great progress at addressing the last three, and minefields alone won't stop them.
>but there's always at least 400,000 of them at all times
And where are they right now?
They have been fighting this war for almost 2 years and so far they have accomplished nothing
I genuinely miss Prigozhin, and wish he cut some kind of deal with the UK or something, and he just spends the rest of his life giving interviews shit talking Shiogu, Gerisimov, and Putin. There's tons of these ex-mobsters who do just that now.
Manning the front, or launching suicide attacks. They slow roll out new convicts and mobiks to replace them and can do this for years without losing anyone.
>I genuinely miss Prigozhin, and wish he cut some kind of deal with the UK or something
He was leader of PMC that was known for executing Ukrainian civilians and PoWs, as well as "handling" refusniks, Russian soldiers who refused to fight against Ukraine. Prigozhin died like an animal he was and only deserved a bit more suffering

2. He knew where a lot of the bodies were buried. If he ever cut a deal, he would have so much shit and shady info on Putin and Russian's it would make even the most diehard critic blush.

Almost certainly why Putin had to kill him even after he cucked out so pathetically.
The thing is, while they are unfricking themselves, all these losses are irreplaceable in the timeframe of this war. What this means is, if they DO manage to unfrick themselves, they'll have to work with a MUCH worse baseline of materiel. TL;DR regardless of the future developments, these losses permanently affect their sttength.
The Russian MOD is already drafting the announcement that the boat was filled with kittens, puppies, Dombabwean children, POWs and Mother Teresa, who said Slava Russia and everyone clapped just before the ship was hit.
Ukraine is an amazing place. Withing a few hundred kilometer distance you can have like a dozen completely different areas that each look like they are from a different alien planet.
Just driving through the countryside may seem like you are in Star Wars film.
I should like to visit once things are a little less utterly hostile for them. I have a little fantasy of finding a farmer who hid a t55 in his barn and paying him to drive it around
>a ship sunk >a one of the biggest columns of heavy armor obliterated without casualties from Ukie side >50B support announced
Today has been a good day. A great day.
i'm genuinely impressed all russia ever seems to be capable of doing is burying their opponents in bodies. their performance in every other category has been unbelievably piss poor this conflict.
Stupid kholkhols celebrating pure event of nothing while President Putin annouced today Russian soldiers capture NINETEEN houses in Adviivka. The ass is in the ass.
Speaking of "where are they now", has anybody heard anything about Elvira Nabiullina, or is she still "recovering from illness" (totally-not-under-strict-house-arrest)?
This is what the EU should be doing, along with the UN. I read Korean War accounts and get a little excited when I read "United Nations infantry" and "united Nations airforce" in the accounts. The irony is that all the far-right paranoia about "one world government" being some commie plot, the ONE time we had a United Nations army that kicked ass and took names it was to mow down Chinese and North Korean communists by the thousands.
The problem is that the Korean War was in the 50's when the UN was run by the US and Europe, specifically a still mostly alive British Empire, and now the UN is run almost entirely by the turd world.
Yeah, it was a quirk of the time where the USSR and China didn't get to block everyone's fun at the Security Council so the US Backed UN got to go wild. That's why I want a proper European Union army, navy, airforce, with combined arms and combined command. Getting together and funding Ukraine together in a coordinated manner is just one step of that.
which begs the question i supoose - why couldnt they build subs, aircraft carriers, cruisers, new tanks or fifth gen aircraft before the war?
anyway your concern trolling is noted. do you have anything else to add?
If there's a full armistice then Russia can setup their oil/gas operations in Donbass/Luhansk unimpeded which is exactly WHY Ukraine should never stop fighting fully. They can just stop offensive operations and periodically send Himars or Storm shadow into any attempt to start oil extraction and shut it down indefinitely.
Russia then has to man the entire front with the bulk of their army seemingly forever, and can't even get resources to pay for it all. How long Can Russia lsat?
>Russia can setup their oil/gas operations in Donbass/Luhansk unimpeded
All you morons who keep saying "RuSsIa wiLL jUsT tAkE $1 tRillON oF OiL aNd GaS!!!" have no fricking idea how economics works. Russia has more natural resources in its *own* territory than it could possibly exploit given its current industrial capacity. If it doubled or tripled the amount of petroleum or natural gas it exported, it would cause a glut which would cause the price to plummet. It has historically restricted its output to keep prices high, just like other OPEC members. And that's even assuming that civilized nations will lift sanctions any time in the next decade or two, which is very unlikely.
The war has zero economic justification, it's just about Russia's pathetic delusion that it's a great power.
>The war has zero economic justification
it does; Putin thought that he could add 40 million consumer-producers to the Russian economy in one swift strike
https://twitter.com/ThierryBreton/status/1752702003363692630
"we have reached an industrial production capacity of 1 million artillery shells per year. And we will exceed 1.4 million by the end of the year."
Oh wait, EU just met it's production goals for new artillery shells, 2 months ahead of schedule. And will increase it further to 1,4M rounds this year.
>This sinking is honestly one of the most Kino shots of the war so far
First of its kind and Ukraine is getting way better at this. I remember some early ones where it just kinda bounced off the damn ship, then blew up, and only did minor damage. Now they seem to have a pattern down: First one rams it to create a hole. Second one then enters the hole to detonate to create catastrophic damage.
It's just going to get better from here on out and USV are cheaper to create and produce than new Black Sea fleet ships so the rate that they are damaged or destroyed will only increase.
We need tools to somehow detect and take out the subs since they're the most deadly and hard to hit.
>take out the subs since they're the most deadly
While Russian subs are extremely deadly I think we should leave them alone seeing they mostly kill Russians.
The scariest part is really that Ukraine is doing all this on a budget and kind of half-ass. Yeah, they're getting better at it, but imagine what a well funded version of this shit would look like. Subs launching these things to the surface, then they drive around carrying out a mini-Pearl Harbor while the carrier sub slips away.
Wait until a 26 inch torpedo tube launched UUV can go 30 miles from the launch vessel and lay three mines per weapon out the entrance to a harbor after the submarine launches 12 of them
Modern navies with weapons that work can turn their dual purpose radar aimed AAA on surface drones.
You aren't getting anywhere near a CWIS with one of these.
Reminder that AI tech is going to improve at defense as fast as offense as well. So we're gonna see air defense and auto-turrets being driven by AI targetting that will keep up or surpass UAV/USV spam. Just blanket the sky with cheap anti-air guns that shoots any object that moves in the sky (RIP birds nice knowing ya) that gets too close.
These only look deadly because it's Russians we're dealing with.
>The scariest part is really that Ukraine is doing all this on a budget and kind of half-ass.
These drones are wholly funded by NATO and most likely designed and built in the UK. The Ukies are just the fig leaf for their use. I would not be surprised if they show up in the baltic, launched from an "ukrainan raider".
>yeah, to make these UAV/USV more efficient, they are controlled by an AI now >oh and they select targets based on AI too >oh and there's now a fully automated factory for them too >oh and higher level military planning is done by AI now which decides how many and where to send the UAV/USV >they're more efficient than regular troops so we phased them out for more UAV/USV >Oh and the upper command and civillian government is AI now too >Oh and we found distributed economic planning by AI is more efficient as well >Oh and consumers often made irrational decisions, so they've been replaced by AI too >Unmanned vehicles pick up and deliver products via rail and then to store-houses, and the AI firms buy and sell these products too each other >There were some meat-bags begging for food so we put them all together in large camps so we could feed them more efficiently >Oh it turns out that it's inefficient to feed them, so we stopped doing that >War update: year 4503 of the eternal war, and all is going well
See, Tchang? This is what the future of naval warfare looks like.
God I can't wait for these morons to try invading Real China and get sunk to oblivion by cheap naval drones
I remember early in the war where Ukraine fired some Grads at a Russian ship, and it was kind of a symbolic gesture and they said maybe they damaged some of the radar so it'd have to be repaired. That was seen as a "win" against the navy early in the war. Kind of pathetic that we even celebrated that early on.
Now here we are. Stealth cruise missiles hitting ships in drydock, and USV sinking ships in dock on a regular basis.
It was celebrated because it made the Russian navy think twice about Operation Copelord in Odessa, which seen as an impressive win. There was a brief moment when it seemed like the Navy was the only competent branch before they got assrammed
It is, most likely. Since Elon didn't want to be seen as a weapons dealer, the DoD bought a bunch of terminals+ a contract for military use. They can do what they want with these, even donate them to the Ukies.
Don't know about the coverage cell being turned on, surely there's a provision for that in the contract
>>You can clearly see the starlink antenna on the sea drone pictures that are available >yea, but it's not starlink.
It just happens to look like a starlink antenna. It just happens to be sized like a starlink antenna. Yet it isnt, somehow. So which low orbit satellite internet provider are the ukies using?
you're talking about one of the earliest versions >satellite internet provider are the ukies using
they are not using sat internet provider

>you're talking about one of the earliest versions

They how they achieve over the horizon control of their robot jetskis without the russians jamming them or discovering them by ESM means? Starlink narrow beam AESA antenna with tiny sidelobes is the preferred technical solution. Russians wont even know that it is there.

sorry, but i can't give away all secrets, there is a reason they started installing self-detonation systems on these drones....
Finally, I have been waiting to see what angle you guys were going to run with. >it's not real >ignore the Russian military statements about it being "scuttled"
How many ships has Russia lost to a country with no navy now?
Everyone is mentioning the lack of CIWS effectiveness but every time we see the deck gun its pointed dead ahead. It may not be able to target the drones when they are on final approach but you'd expect it be trying to hit the drones when further out
(me)
Highlighted is possibly a tracer of deck gun, so it may have been used, but I'm still suprised that the clear shots of the deck gun only show it straight foward
(me)

>the lack of CIWS effectiveness
we see it working in 0.36, it just didn't hit shit
Cant imagine Russia continuing to be cool with nations funding the destruction of their men and assets. How long before they just say "frick it", call their bluff, escalate and bring them into the fray?
>super rare >even the fricking Coasties have it, dipshit
For that matter even the Ukies have some of their patrol boats with those Shutrm turrets on them. I can't grasp why they think the US Navy of all people couldn't afford to slap stabilized bushmasters with IR on their warships.
Yesterday airbase in Crimeia getting blown up with 20 dead and planes destroyed and today its this. It's not even funny anymore, man. It's so many losses I'm getting exhausted.
That cap with that worn CCP sticker.
Looks like a very good Russo/Ukrainian War memorable

I'm assuming that this is a video of the event from a couple of weeks ago, right? Because back then Atesh claimed it pulled something like this off.
>Annex Crimea to secure Sevastopol and a warm water base
>Turn black sea into a no go zone for russian navy
Another Putin 5D chess move
>multiple drone hits
>one even hits inside a hole made by another drone
>huge as frick explosion
>all on video
How will they talk themself out of this one?
With an explosion like that do you think they hit the magazine?
Yes, the "DIVE" magazine.
>hit rear for engines and rudder
>hit the side
>hit the same hole in the side again
Nicely executed.
It didn't blow in half so I think they just made a huge diesel fireball.
While this ship pointed it's bow at the sky I would like to reassure you that most ships don't do that.
>huge diesel fireball.
Anon that's very clearly the anti ship missile above the impact site cooking off.
That makes sense, unconfined and on deck it wouldn't blow the ship in half like an internal magazine hit would.
>With an explosion like that do you think they hit the magazine?
Look at the two big tubes above the impact point
The ship was actually filled with ukrainian prisoners. They were taking them to some Crimean beach to have a nice anime day beach episode.

Turd World IQ strikes again.

From Bosphorus to Azov no vatnik ship will stay afloat
Did they sink it with the whole crew?
I hope so
I don't see any bodies in the water on the drones thermals, so they're either dead, still inside or getting a practical lesson on the nature of ballistic arcs.
Wanna hear a joke?
Puccian navy!
Love can touch us one time...and last for, a liiiiiifetime
own power status?
It made it to the bottom under the power of its own density
what's the cost of these naval drones? i guess the corvette cost around 30 million?
The first one costs around 1 million $ for each, mb after mass production starts cost dropped a little bit
That includes R&D I presume? The unit price is way lower.
I'm just moronic and missed it with something else. There was crowdfunding for 100 naval drones each was 10 million UAH (~265k USD)
do we know what communication system they're using to guide the drones? certainly not whatever protocol a regular consumer drone uses. Think it's starlink terminals purchased by the US DoD?
>We're in the timeline where social media campaigns result in crowd funding UAV and USV which lead to actual Russian tanks and boats being destroyed with actual losses.

Bro, cities were croud funding military equipment in WW2, nothing changed only publicity
I am donating 1 FPV monthly. The warmness of the feeling it gets me can't be described. I wrap myself in woolen blanket, get a nice cup of arabica and watch Northern lights over the fjord from my living room.
There will never be time to spend money better in my life. Its as kino as was watching LOTR in cinema in 2001.
>I am donating 1 FPV monthly. The warmness of the feeling it gets me can't be described. I wrap myself in woolen blanket, get a nice cup of arabica and watch Northern lights over the fjord from my living room.
Fricking based. I have been donating to the naval drones fund and the video of the Tarantul reminded me it's been too long since I last did. But a whole FPV drone at a time is fricking based, anon.
Based Norwegian oil baron funding TZD.
The nordics are all dumping money on NAMMO and Finland specifically wants to have their production of munitions to to go up to 10x of what it was pre-war in a couple of years and right now it's about 5x of what it was.
>The world war has been averted
I would love to agree but I think it's only need delayed. Western political donors what to offshore production to anywhere that has low wages so just as western corporate greed created the China threat we will see them keep producing more powerful enemies so they can pay $0.50 an hour instead of $15.
I want to add that the Storm Shadow line is now up and hot
>I am donating 1 FPV monthly.
>That's nuts as you have an actual body count
Yeah, funding the deaths of russians gets you laid.
basado
>That pic

Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it. As often as it comes it will carry you away; morning after morning, by day and by night, it will sweep through.”
>"The understanding of this message will bring sheer terror. The bed is too short to stretch out on, the blanket too narrow to wrap around you."
God hates Russians and Russians hate God.
here's one of their shaman performing a ritual at Stalin's (godless communist homosexual) grave.
I look that shit up, and it's not his grave. It's some statue in a shithole in Russia. Apparently the priest was investigated for doing that.
Still, I can't fathom how they're trying to reconcile communism and Christianity.
Russia stopped being Communist in 1991
they're just vanilla fascist now
Fascist is a public state religion and jutting into your lives at every moment. So they're getting half-assed fascism that even Putin doesn't believe in, then mafia state oligarchy, then USSR and Imperial Russian nostalgia all rolled into one.
>do you really count as fascist if you half-ass it?
good question
Please stop misusing the term 'fascism'.
The word you're looking for is 'dictatorship'. Russia is a petrostate. It has petrostate politics.
>Fascism (/ˈfæʃJzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement,[1][2][3] characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.
which part of that doesn't apply to Russia?
>It has petrostate politics
what on earth is even that
That online dictionary definition is bogus. Fascism requires an organic view of the economy that Russia lacks. Using that view, you could argue that ANY historical government system was "fascist", from the Ancient Babylonians to the Middle Ages.
>you could argue that ANY historical government system was "fascist", from the Ancient Babylonians to the Middle Ages
well, yes
divine right of kings and all that
>Fascism requires an organic view of the economy that Russia lacks
explain?
>divine right of kings and all that
If you think a theocratic monarchy = fascism, I'd suggest never talking about political structures ever again.
In fact, no one has murdered more Russian than him, throughout history.
oh cool, want to post your evidence?
https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2023/08/18/russian-orthodox-church-probes-priest-who-blessed-stalin-statue-a82178
>Still, I can't fathom how they're trying to reconcile communism and Christianity.
>I am donating 1 FPV monthly
far from non zero odds this /k/tard actually has a body count, if indirectly
Doesn't it technically make him an arms dealer?
>there's something happening here.mp3
not a clue
but I doubt he's profiting monetarily from it
An arms dealer pro bono then.
>Doesn't it technically make him an arms dealer?
What glorious times we live in. Any random fat fuc/k/ can do a mini-larp as a budget-sized lord of war.
Just at 6% ARP you can get your own naval drone do your bidding. Kill ruskies now, pay later!
> conditions apply
More like patron of the arts.
Anon, it's more than confirmed. They use FPV UAV's to hit BMP's and tanks that assault Krinky and Andiivka daily.
Good stuff anon, I only wish I had the money to join in.
You don't have to do masses at once, you can just do what I do and set aside a little bit each pay check that goes straight to funding what ever part of the TZD crusade you wish to support.
I mainly focus on medical aid, because I'd rather save good people than kill bad ones, but it's up to you where you want to focus your resources.
Good point, while I'm all for TZD Ukraine is getting billions in arms and not a lot in medical, I think that's what I will support too.
Amen
I kneel, keep up the good work anon. TZD will continue until morale improves
What model of drone? Same each time or are you buying whatever is cheapest and fits the bill?
Motherfricking based anon. I also don't save money ATM but because I go out partying and doing drugs too often 🙁
thank you for bless us with more tzd
I can't do as much but I'm past 3000 CHF so I hope I did my part for TZD one way or another.
I'm actually planning to donate 1000 per year no matter how long this war lasts so there's that.
Via the "Come Back Alive" charity?
I would have given already, but I'm extremely paranoid about charity scams.
Probably should do it anyway for the sake of potential TZD
>Ukraine does an amphibious invasion of Crimea
Would make up for discount d day being canceled.
Ukraine just got 50 billion euro approved, so no problem.
There are still assloads if problems.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
you see, silly americanyets, ship was due for the decommission, the hoholis helped decommission ship and wasted the expensive drones. A massive loss for decadent west
>steering the drones right inside the gapping hole from previous drones.
Jesus, you can see the equipment inside the boat. And now UA gets the 50b oiro. Not the best day for Puccia
/k/ is going to be raided again, isn't it
The only way this could get funnier would be if the EU votes to kick Hungary out and watching Orban try and explain how this wasn't his fault.
Unironically how do you deal with this? I'm afraid that sand "people" will figure this out eventually and try it against a US ship.
Aerial surveillance and then engaging them with weapons like CIWS that have actually competent fire control systems unlike the Russians. If they are further away you can even dunk on them with anti-ship missiles.
By having decent sensors.
stabilized autocannon defensive systems, watch standers that are trained, sensors that work. this is why practically all US vessels have bushmaster mounts or now the more advanced (essentially) IFV turrets on them to obliterate these kinds of threats.
>stabilized autocannon defensive systems, watch standers that are trained, sensors that work. this is why practically all US vessels have bushmaster mounts or now the more advanced (essentially) IFV turrets on them to obliterate these kinds of threats.
Show me these new turrets. The only thing I've seen in common use are dual .50 cal mounts (unstabilized) manned by a seamutt using nothing but xir's eyeballs to scout for targets.
>posting the outdated version
This is the modern CIWS.
moron
EW + half-decent gun CIWS.
You can use missile CIWS too, even if it's a colossal waste for such a slow target.
Smaller ones are your regular 23" open fishing boat with big motors.
these little guys can supposedly hit surface targets, I'd be surprised if we don't get launchers like this designed exclusively for surface targets too
Just shoot it. I bet you could stop thiese things with five guys using PKM's.
It's just that Russia is so very incompetent.
By having some of your sailors, that are on watch duty, have BAC low enough to pass breathalyzer test.
Radar, night vision, a bunch of guns. This isn't too different from the US Cole attack and USA trained hard to prevent that in the future.
have good functional CIWS
this was a Tarantul-class missile boat. it's supposed to have two CIWS to shoot down missiles and aircraft with. theoretically it should be able to shoot these USVs, they're giant 30mm gatling cannons for fricks sake
meanwhile a US Navy destroyer intercepted a Houthi missile with its 20mm Phalanx
there could not be a more timely illustration of the contrast between American and Russian military capability at this point
Funny you ask, the Cuckthis just tried it but unlike Pussian weapons the US Navy weapons actually work.
What is he th(s)inking right now ?
just let him be at peace, anon

Not related to thread but..Where Gerasimov ? It's been a while now and even some newspaper are begining to ask.
>Gerasimov
What's with the finnish flags in the background?
Russian Navy Flag. It's like the Finnish Flag, but shitty and crooked.

Seems that they have diesel + gas turbine propulsion, the gas turbine exhausts are those in the ass.
>1 big and two semi big autocannons
I am so confused.
How is it possible for a ship like this to be taken out by half a dozen small drones, that aren't even that fast.
Are they not stabilized or something, the frick is going on there?
See those large tube things on the side?
Those are for AShM's, every Russian surface combatant has them, and I reckon those going off are the reason it sank.
Guns on Russian ships do not actually have to work, they are just for show.
well it would require this ship to be able to detect these drones, and for the guns to actually have ammo in them and for their to be someone to use the guns
Engine exhausts, I think?
Would explain why they're so bright on the thermals.
>the one that gets inside the breach from an earlier hit
>directly under the missile tubes

Cute boat
They should never leave port. Naval warfare is ruined due these drones.
For Russians.
Funnily enough, this missile cutter was designed to basically do the same thing the drones are doing today - sneak up and swarm bigger ships that get too close in a close-in suicidal attack, except this one carried anti-ship missiles.
We still have ships that do a similar thing nowadays, the Norwegian and Finnish navies use them.
>except this one carried anti-ship missiles.
Why did the Russians bother to continue to use expensive hard-to-replace Soviet ships that have a mainly anti-ship role, in a sea against a nation that no longer has a navy?
They're used as radar pickets
I see, thank you.
>expensive
China'll sell something like it for about a quarter billion dollars
the problem is getting it into the Black Sea
And that small problem of sanctions. Getting consumer-level computer chips and drones to the Ruskies is one thing, full-on warships will be certainly cause the West to call foul.
I actually quite like that design, shame it's russian.
We gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan
Pls tell me no one survived.
From the looks of things - no one.
a couple might have, but it's a pretty small ship and that explosion was pretty large so who knows.
Deck gun not work?
It's currently in the Donbass on top of an MT-LB.
holy shit, the guidance that FPV allows let them hit the same spot multiple times. that one was INSIDE the ship when it detonated.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
That’s it. I have seen enough.
We, strong Puccia, have no choice now but to take them off.
It’s time to go in without any gloves.
>44 crew members on board
I...don't see any rafts when the ship is already sinking bros
Don't worry about it.
Any troops in Ukraine are fair game, and if they don't want to die needlessly they can resign or surrender.
tl;dr tzd
They returned to port under their own power
>We've watched infantry suiciding themselves with grenades at the slightest inconvenience for years.
Do you think the Navy mobiks aren't indoctrinated into the same attitude?
Navy mobiks dont carry guns or grenades. If they didnt die by the explosions, hypothermia will do it. It's pretty fricked.
>I...don't see any rafts when the ship is already sinking bros
I sure hope not.
The fishes are so well fed in the black sea, Romania might as well rise up their quotas.
With any luck the big boom took them out before the sea could claim them

So how long until some ziggerman claims it will be repaired in mere months and hohols wasted precious drones on nothing?
It was already repaired by the time the video was posted. In fact the ship has even found love in a drydock and has multiple children.
they'll probably just minimize the loss and say it's just a random schooner that happened to have missiles on it and Russia has hundreds (they will not post them but believe them)
Stupid crest it was a hohol ship.
They hit their own ship.
Looks like rear fell off.
does that happen often?
Stupid kholkhols sank ship set to embark to scrap heap in April but for now he was being used to ferry Ukrainian POWs between Sevastopol and Melitopol. Kholkhols have committed act of terrorism against innocent civilians who spent several years training to be naval sailor.
>But Ukraine is running low on ammo
Euro production lines are finally getting up to speed, they should be getting enough ammo by spring.
>losing slowly on the ground
You serious homie? Russia has been throwing rusted T55s and mobik meatwaves at hyper-dimensional fortryss ayylmaovka since october without even capturing the trash heap they wanted so much. They lose 10+ tank and 20+ tubes on average EVERY DAY. They burned through famed soviet stockpiles in less than two years and are now deepthroating north korea for their surplus. If this is Ukraine losing, then I shudder to think what would winning look like.

They got it in Crimea lmao
How the frick did so many drones sneak by coastal defenses?
... They do have coastal defenses, right?
>... They do have coastal defenses, right?
Yes, anon, they use Tarantul-class patrol corvettes to protect their littoral zone and approaches to ports
they do but it's entirely possible they just quietly slipped them into the water behind enemy lines with saboteurs or just quietly snuck under friendly civilian craft.
These aren't paper boats, anon. How do you sneak multiple drones each the size of a jetski into Crimea?
>These aren't paper boats, anon. How do you sneak multiple drones each the size of a jetski into Crimea?
Starlink. Based elmo
trucks, bribes and glowBlack person shit. Like the other answer is despite 24/7 surveillance with pretty advanced, if Russian equipment they manages to slip multiple drones completely unnoticed given the ship was caught almost unawares.

If there's any ukies watching this, you should try puting some smoke launchers on the drones, so subsequent drones are harder to hit by defenders. Since the drones have thermal cameras they'll see through regular smoke, the moronic vatniks shooting at them won't
>Since the drones have thermal cameras they'll see through regular smoke
not how smoke works homosexual
>EU is having trouble approving it's own aid package
They literally just did apporve it. 50 billion eurobucks.
it's always so funny when there's a happening and suddenly all the vatnik posting vanishes while they figure out their narrative and then suddenly an hour later the board is flooded with vatnik posts with very similar wording
remember the Blayt Hall Putsch when the board was eerily quiet for three days
>remember the Blayt Hall Putsch when the board was eerily quiet for three days
>Then DoD have their own shill propagandist farms too.
See how they fit in little lies into seemingly true posts?
Post a single DoD shill farm that has posted here pls
i think he meant MoD
the russian MoD
That's always been their M.O. Target groups of the disenfranchised and terminally gullible. Any kind of conspiracy theory group is perfect because they're full of schizophrenics who will believe anything. Once you convert them they'll do 10 times the work of any professional shill, they'll do it for free, and they'll bring their friends in on it too.
the ship returned to port under own power
yeah no shit russia has a manpower advantage, but wasting 45% of your gdp on a moronic war while tens of thousands are dying, losing your main source of income and having to sell for cheap to the poos, shrinking workforce, people fleeing the country, infrastructure is falling apart, and so on, is not going to create a good outcome in the long run.
THAT LAST SHOT
holy shit
that is at least four hits
>Using naval drones GUR sunk Tarantul-class corvette
Great job....how many ukranian soldiers will get resurrected by this? None...
Why is Ukraine still losing if they are capable of this? Oh yeah, cz it makes little difference on the ground...
GOOOOOOOOD MOURNING SAAAAAARS
I told you guys. I told you in the other stupid thread that got deleted. The boats get closer and closer, the air superiority spreads further and further across Crimea.
>implement a Fleet in being strategy
>still lost surface vessels
Ayyyy lmao
What a bunch of morons
>First hit to propulsion
>Once dead in the water it gets attacked from multiple angles
Yikes. Drone swarms against lone ships are scary.
I want to see dives on these wrecks though.
holy shit. that's some crazy ass footage
Tell me, anon, what was the primary reason to annex Crimea in 2014?
> russia has lost a capability
> does it change anything
You tell me cotton pants
Is Russia going to run out of convicts? They seem to be missing a few hundred thousand of them, and they use them as suicide units.
Quick question: why don't they attach a close range missile to a drone and launch it like 200 meter away? Thus drone won't be even in danger radius.
They're playing with that kind of system but it's not fully in service yet
more expensive, smaller explosive power
surface vessels can carry much more asplodey stuff while remaining hard to detect
1. they are stupid
2. they have drones with dumb rockets on them
>no ship was hit
>threat has been neutralised, ship hit by debris
>ship has been damaged
>ship returned to port under its own power

>“At night, the attack by Ukrainian formations continued. Nine unmanned boats left Odessa and the mouth of the Danube River in the direction of Crimea.
>▪Four of them were discovered by Russian sailors at the entrance to Lake Donuzlav. Fire was opened on them, as a result of which four drones were destroyed.
>▪One of drones exploded right next to the side of the boat, damaging it. There is no data on the extent of damage at this time. Two patrol boats, two helicopters and a fighter jet were sent to search for the four remaining drones. During the operation they were hit and scuttled.”
Fricking kek
He is correct though.
Due to valiant actions of the corvete, drones don't exist anymore.
Ah the Russians just hardcore into shit like Small Penis Humiliation and get off on being proven moronic?
They just don't understand how normal humans interact with each other. Just like the Chinese with their own propaganda.
Must be a bugpeople thing
>Must be a bugpeople thing
I firmly believe the Pajeet-Ruskie-Chang alliance is one borne out of a common hatred for countries that don't have to shit outside.
Indians remained a neutral country that leaned towards USSR in the Cold War, and they got tons of support and Russian tech. They see the Russians as a model military to aspire to, and the USSR/Russian empire as a counter balance to USA's empire.
The best thing is, due to posting this horseshit, they have no way of posting about the sinking of Ivanovets without looking like morons or liars.
>There is no data on the extent of damage at this time.
The ship was not present at the scene.
Problems not.
The boat is fine comrad
>There is no data on the extent of damage
lol
lmao even
>Four of them were discovered by Russian sailors at the entrance to Lake Donuzlav. Fire was opened on them, as a result of which four drones were destroyed.
We discovered the enemy penises at the entrance to our butthole. We clenched, as a result of which all four ejaculated into our bussy.
>bussy
Best word ever
>"Two patrol boats, two helicopters and a fighter jet were sent to search for the four remaining drones. During the operation they were hit and scuttled.”
What? The Ukrainians blew up helos and a jet with drone boats?
I'm in awe at how they can just handwave away the video of the enormous hull breach from the POV of the *second* impacting unmanned boat with
>There is no data on the extent of damage at this time.
But after Prigozhin's rebellion and our boy Igor Girkin got arrested, the milbloggers have been effectively neutered.
well the drones are indeed destroyed
He's technically not incorrect...
The best kind of incorrect.
>Losing ANOTHER ship to a nation with no navy while fighting a ground war that is not really war but a special military operation that was supposed to last 2 weeks
Lol
When was the last time the US lost a ship due to enemy fire? Nam'? WWII?
USS Indianapolis in WWII
>mister Putin, what happened to the corvette?
*smirks* "she sank"
+140
the tarantul was just 140 pts in wargame?
These airframe and naval losses look bad, but they are only a small part of the bigger picture.
dont care, TZD
Too many celebratory posts like
causing over-confidence. It's an uphill battle for Ukraine and this is still Russia's war to lose.
>over confidence
They're only 500 tons, have 50 people and have vital anti ship missiles on them, it's no big deal.
Oh in that case yeah, agreed. Sorry anon. I just saw DoD and glazed over the rest of his post to be honest.
Russia-China create a perfect ecosystem that they can survive indefinitely.
lol is this the new narrative? theyve lost ships, aircraft radar and a submarine which are all literally irreplacable
Now? Sure, during war time they can't be replaced. But a trillion is a lot, and they will just buy hardware from China post war, and then import millions of Africans and Pajeets as workers.
God I wanna see the submarine built by Black folk and poos out of chink parts. Please please please god
>chinese vassal full of africans and pajeets
>savior of the white races destiny
to be russia is to be grim
Ironically, 80% of pidors live in such shit conditions, that even Klaus Schwab's fever dreams would be an improvement. They already own nothing, and live in hovels worse than ze pod.
which begs the question i supoose - why couldnt they build subs, aircraft carriers, cruisers, new tanks or fifth gen aircraft before the war?
anyway your concern trolling is noted. do you have anything else to add?
>why couldnt they build subs, aircraft carriers, cruisers, new tanks or fifth gen aircraft before the war?
Prigozhin died like an animal he was and only deserved a bit more suffering
yeah but he was a funny c**t hey
SHOIGU
1. Prig was hiliarious.
My fricking sides
The Russian MOD is already drafting the announcement that the boat was filled with kittens, puppies, Dombabwean children, POWs and Mother Teresa, who said Slava Russia and everyone clapped just before the ship was hit.
You forgot to add a giant, shrugging Shoigu
here
BTW there is/was an LCL lake a few km from where this ship was blown up.
Ukraine is an amazing place. Withing a few hundred kilometer distance you can have like a dozen completely different areas that each look like they are from a different alien planet.
Just driving through the countryside may seem like you are in Star Wars film.
i think you get the idea.
I should like to visit once things are a little less utterly hostile for them. I have a little fantasy of finding a farmer who hid a t55 in his barn and paying him to drive it around
I thought exactly the same as you

Any good videos?
Debunked by trusting sources.
i'm genuinely impressed all russia ever seems to be capable of doing is burying their opponents in bodies. their performance in every other category has been unbelievably piss poor this conflict.
Naturally, the corvette was filled to the brim with Ukrainian POWs.
The Vatnik who loses the Putler's POWs loses the Putler's friendship!
What movie is this from?
Red October
Damn I got to watch this movie
Read the book too.
Added to the list, thank you anons
The book is better.
But the movie's not bad. The soundtrack especially.
The book almost made the British seem cool.
Stupid kholkhols celebrating pure event of nothing while President Putin annouced today Russian soldiers capture NINETEEN houses in Adviivka. The ass is in the ass.
Tactical advantage of sinking like the Titanic? Did it go back in port on its own? What does Guerassimov have to say about this?
Corvette is conducting rescue operation for missing pilots and crew of A-50 lost two weeks ago.
Gerasiwho?
Wherasimov?
Speaking of "where are they now", has anybody heard anything about Elvira Nabiullina, or is she still "recovering from illness" (totally-not-under-strict-house-arrest)?
Who's she, I don't think I've heard of her before?
Loved this CoD1 level. Zoomers wouldn't know it.
i remember price could die in this level, so i always did my utmost to protect him
Oh wait. EU just approved that aid package. Hungary voted yes, nicely along with the rest of them.
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-68165971
Cool 50B pocket money for Ukies.
OMEGALUL

"we have reached an industrial production capacity of 1 million artillery shells per year. And we will exceed 1.4 million by the end of the year."
Oh wait, EU just met it's production goals for new artillery shells, 2 months ahead of schedule. And will increase it further to 1,4M rounds this year.
Why can't the Houthis do this against US Navy ships?
They're US Navy ships, and they're Houthis.
This sinking is honestly one of the most Kino shots of the war so far
I fear traditional navies don't have long.
Wait until a 26 inch torpedo tube launched UUV can go 30 miles from the launch vessel and lay three mines per weapon out the entrance to a harbor after the submarine launches 12 of them
Stop, stop. I can only get SO erect.
Obviously, I'm just saying this is not what it could be if given full effort.
>These drones are wholly funded by NATO and most likely designed and built in the UK
By Boris Johnson himself
I fricking wish, we've spent peanuts on naval drones since the 90s
shut up, rajesh
>I would not be surprised if they show up in the baltic, launched from an "ukrainan raider".
I fricking hope so.
They seemed to be targeting the rear alot (rudder and screws obviously) to immobilize it. I almost feel bad for the crew, they were just picked apart.
Anon, at the this point in time, the snail won't just beat Russia, but will lap them. Multiple times.
Dumb Hohols wasted drones, Ivanovets was screening ship for Moskva, we didn't need it anymore *~~*~~
>yeah, to make these UAV/USV more efficient, they are controlled by an AI now
>oh and they select targets based on AI too
>oh and there's now a fully automated factory for them too
>oh and higher level military planning is done by AI now which decides how many and where to send the UAV/USV
>they're more efficient than regular troops so we phased them out for more UAV/USV
>Oh and the upper command and civillian government is AI now too
>Oh and we found distributed economic planning by AI is more efficient as well
>Oh and consumers often made irrational decisions, so they've been replaced by AI too
>Unmanned vehicles pick up and deliver products via rail and then to store-houses, and the AI firms buy and sell these products too each other
>There were some meat-bags begging for food so we put them all together in large camps so we could feed them more efficiently
>Oh it turns out that it's inefficient to feed them, so we stopped doing that
>War update: year 4503 of the eternal war, and all is going well
The only role left for human life will be jerking off to AI generated porn of military killbots with big breasts
A true utopia
>BEET BOOT BEET BOOT
>EXTERMINATE ZIGGERS!
>EXTERMINAAATEEE!
See, Tchang? This is what the future of naval warfare looks like.
God I can't wait for these morons to try invading Real China and get sunk to oblivion by cheap naval drones
it has become known about 236 azov prisoners were being transported on this ship, their faith is unknown
>I'm czar of the world!!
lmao that's the good shit
Shop some mini-VDV jumping off saying "You jump, I jump"
>Airbase strikes in Crimea w/ kills
>Corvette sunk with multiple angles
>50 billion help package
Yeah some fookin good news finally. Extra strong cup of coffee now!
Where Gerasimov?
it was ukrainian black sea fleet got KALIBRATED mmmm roast piggies))
Eyebrow status ?
Wiggly
What kind of a satellite link do they use? It can't be Starlink, ...rrright?
It is, most likely. Since Elon didn't want to be seen as a weapons dealer, the DoD bought a bunch of terminals+ a contract for military use. They can do what they want with these, even donate them to the Ukies.
Don't know about the coverage cell being turned on, surely there's a provision for that in the contract
>It can't be Starlink,
they had a documentary on these drones...its not starlink
>>It can't be Starlink,
>they had a documentary on these drones...its not starlink
You can clearly see the starlink antenna on the sea drone pictures that are available. Its the flat thing in the back.
>You can clearly see the starlink antenna on the sea drone pictures that are available
yea, but it's not starlink.
>>You can clearly see the starlink antenna on the sea drone pictures that are available
>yea, but it's not starlink.
It just happens to look like a starlink antenna. It just happens to be sized like a starlink antenna. Yet it isnt, somehow. So which low orbit satellite internet provider are the ukies using?
correct, this is important for tax and liability reasons IIRC
you're talking about one of the earliest versions
>satellite internet provider are the ukies using
they are not using sat internet provider
>you're talking about one of the earliest versions
internet provider are the ukies using
>they are not using sat internet provider
They how they achieve over the horizon control of their robot jetskis without the russians jamming them or discovering them by ESM means? Starlink narrow beam AESA antenna with tiny sidelobes is the preferred technical solution. Russians wont even know that it is there.
sorry, but i can't give away all secrets, there is a reason they started installing self-detonation systems on these drones....
Zigger projection is something else
Yet you ignore the CIWS turret the other anon posted because you're a sped
How many ships are left on the Black Sea? How much % of their shitty fleet do they have left?
30% more or less has been sunk or damaged enough to be out of commision, in terms of numbers.
Now if we talk about tons... at leat 40-50% is gone
20% is sunk.
What video editing software andor which AI was used to make this?
We are expecting Russian Phlanx did not shoot these fricking slow moving drones down? Where is COWS guns firing?
This isn't even in any fricking news!
Yes cormade very fake unlike russia destroying Skynex .
Finally, I have been waiting to see what angle you guys were going to run with.
>it's not real
>ignore the Russian military statements about it being "scuttled"
How many ships has Russia lost to a country with no navy now?
Bruh, the last seconds show us a Titanic scenario. Do you really think it stayed afloat?
Everyone is mentioning the lack of CIWS effectiveness but every time we see the deck gun its pointed dead ahead. It may not be able to target the drones when they are on final approach but you'd expect it be trying to hit the drones when further out
they need a couple of these
Only put in an LWC and no CIWS controller
(me)
Highlighted is possibly a tracer of deck gun, so it may have been used, but I'm still suprised that the clear shots of the deck gun only show it straight foward
That's not the cwis that's the 76 mm, the cwis is in the back
>the lack of CIWS effectiveness
we see it working in 0.36, it just didn't hit shit
>Don't bring any food
>expect to grow non-native crops in cold rocky climate
>starve
>must've been because they were commies
moron
But that is textbook communist agriculture of tge Lysenko school
Cant imagine Russia continuing to be cool with nations funding the destruction of their men and assets. How long before they just say "frick it", call their bluff, escalate and bring them into the fray?
>they're destroying us indirectly with half-measures
>let's give them an excuse to go all-in and destroy us directly
genius plan
Good idea zigger, let's see TZD accelerate even faster instead of it happening piecemeal
How exactly? A meatwave into Finland?
>super rare
even the fricking Coasties have it, dipshit
>super rare
>even the fricking Coasties have it, dipshit
For that matter even the Ukies have some of their patrol boats with those Shutrm turrets on them. I can't grasp why they think the US Navy of all people couldn't afford to slap stabilized bushmasters with IR on their warships.
Wrong pic.
Someone make a new thread, this one is done and the footage is amazing.
Covertshore has some sat images as well from before
Yesterday airbase in Crimeia getting blown up with 20 dead and planes destroyed and today its this. It's not even funny anymore, man. It's so many losses I'm getting exhausted.
I got funned out two months ago, after the Novocherkassk hit it was just endless mobik dronings and suicides
That cap with that worn CCP sticker.
Looks like a very good Russo/Ukrainian War memorable
>Okay, left.
>Okay, right.
>Okay, left, just dodge the bullet.
>Okay, right.
>Okay, STRAIGHT AHEAD!!
>STRAGHT AHEAD!!
>I COOOOOMmmmm
>She sank
How many Russians when TZD last night?
Yes, Ukraine is losing on the ground because of Russia's 200 KIA advances over 80 meters in Avidiivka.
>All that ineffectual machine gun fire missing the drones
If only they had Shikishima on the 13mm heavy machine gun. They'd have been fine bros.
Do the ukrainians pilot those boats or are they autonomous?
>too valuable or just incapable to be used on speedboats.
>sir, should we use the CIWS? it has plenty of depression, is stabilized and has electro-optical targeting
>no, some turdoid on an anonymous image board said it's too expensive
>aye aye, guess we'll die.
this is your brain on turdism.
The gravy has entered the pants
The next upgrade is going to be 30mm rather than a 25mm btw
EU just approved the 50 Billion.
Hungary is going to approve Sweden into NATO, expanding it further.
Congress has every incentive to approve aid, it's going to be packaged in a budget deal.
That ship was full Ukrainian POWs! Warcrime!
Quality is meh, but here the full videya
You read it here first folks.
“That wasn’t a Russian ship. It was a civilian cruise ship!” Is going to be the cope flavor of the day
>Lost a ship? Who cares
I do. I'm this fricking close to filling out my Black Sea Fleet Bingo card.
>Who will win?
>World's second strongest navy
>A bunch of spicy rubber ducks
This war's clown show level is off the charts. If the US had lost half a dozen ships invading Iraq there'd be hell to pay.
