it might have original external dimensions but it pretty much ends up being a body kit because it has to have specific internal dimensions and features due to using bolt+barrel i.e. the main action
even ignoring this if you had ever looked into firearm design you'd know bolt, barrel and the action they form are the only legitimately complicated parts in any gun
