There were some, but they were separatist fighters that were absorbed into direct command when Putin assassinated the leadership. I don't think any of them survived beyond 2023. As far as current fighters, there are a couple of hispanic guys that claim to be American, but the rest were tiktok warriors used in specialist roles that were all told to stop posting on their social media. If they're still around, they're not in combat.

Russia does accept foreign volunteers though, you could just as easily sign up to die with them as you could for Ukraine. A little voice in my head kind of wants to, only to end up downrange of an American volunteer and give him a moment of severe confusion when he hears someone from the Russian side speaking perfect english.
