Air vent cover.

Can yall help me find a Solid vent cover? Like I need a cover that is solid metal that will prevent air coming in or out.

>no those magnetic covers won't cut it.

If anyone can link a website or point me to the right place it would be MUCH appreciated.

Make one out of 1/4 plywood. Add weather stripping if you want it air tight. Paint to match wall.

most vent covers have baffling that you can just turn to a closed position. that's what you've got there right now.
otherwise is right-pull any existing baffles out and slam a piece of 3/8" ply in there. or ignore the ply and spray a bunch of foam insulation into the vent cover. if you do either it doesn't matter much what cover you get.

Please guys, I could really use some help in this regard. I swear I'm searching online for "closed, solid, no holes, vent covers" but nothing of what I need is popping up.

      >"closed, solid, no holes, vent covers"
so you are the guy googling stupid ass shit like that? always wondered...
a vent is not a vent if it has no holes (for venting, you know) you need a cover and a guy already told you to get a piece of plywood
other feasible materials would be a piece of drywall

Just buy a piece of sheet metal and cut it to the shape you need using an angle grinder or something. Then drill 2 holes in it and attach it to the wall with 2 drywall screws.

    Wear googles.

I don't know what you are trying to accomplish.
If you pull that register off, there should be nothing holding it there, there may be an additional baffle to close in the pipe that you can reach by hand. If not, that baffle will be at the other end and you'll have to figure out which one it is.
If you just want to block air then you can put a piece of cardboard like from a cereal box inside, then tape the outside or that magnetic cover you apparently have.

Last bump then I'll let it die,

Thank you all for the advice and anyone else who decides to share the last few methods to stop air coming in and out that vent.
If you'd like to know why I'll share that if this is still here tomorrow morning.

      No I don't smoke,
I want to cover this up to stop the smell of literal shit, but trash, etc... from entering my room.

And no, it's not an exaggeration as to what I am smelling. But a horrible reality of my current situation.
