A bullet in a cross pathway and passing the thalamus and cavaties results in at least loss of consiousness, control of breathing and regulation of a heartbeat immediately. Thats why a crossing bullet is deathly in a big region in the brain in a cirle above your ear. Than damaging the brainstem or arteries is secondly the most fatal aspect of a bullet crossing the brain but following surgeons and scientists the worse case scenario is, here it comes again, if a bullet not exits. The energy is too high and changes are big that it will not spin and drill a hole in your bone but loses its pathway by the first entry so R-I-C-O-C-H-E-T-S in a brain in the worse case but al least leave a mess in the "exit hemisphere" because of the kinetic energy.

I see it in many articles ive read and even on youtube: your brain is going to be messed up if a bullet loses its perfect straight path bacause of the entry through bone and loses it completely by the second exit hemisphere.

Most risky: is crossing the brain and damaging the centers what controles heartbeat, conciousness, oxygenbrain barriers.

Even worse: if a bullet starts eating through because of losing a pathway.

Better change of survival: get that bullet out of there, when it exists.

Change of only dying of bloodloss: the bullet eats a pathway in one hemisphere but E-X-I-T-s at least.

From what ive read, not a doctor (lucky me) is that surgeons and specialists have one big fear for headshots: if the bullet not E-X-I-T-s in which ricochating is the most fatal.

I could have made quotes to the articles but find it out yourself, google can help. Giving quotation is like freely giving the effort away while being mocked on by teenagers. Find it out yourself.

The reality is that the brain is contained in an enclosed space and it’s made of very delicate tissue which means that the temporary cavitation of even service caliber handgun JHPs can have devastating effects. This makes obsessing over “shot placement in the brain” largely pointless, even more than it would already be without JHPs.

Also true but its placement just results in crossing regions what even contains functions like blood barrier, conciousness and heartbeat but even letting that out: contact headshot is 7/10 fatal, no matter what and independent of caliber

Most Europeans speak two native and English but 4 languages is normal. Here in the Neth we learn: Dutch, German or Spanish, English from highschool as basis. Than you have gymnasia, they learn Greek and Latin which is 5 languages fluent. Some come from all over the world where they got a 6th language, native. Thats quite normal here. More the rule than the exception.

So 10% chance to not die, without taking into account caliber and shot placement. Interesting.
