289 days into the 3 day special military operation...

>60% of the land Russia has taken has been taken back militarily.
>Russian military humiliated on the world stage in a conventional war, not even an insurgency.
>Russian MIC not recovering for 20 years if ever.
>Hundreds of thousands of Russian casualties.
>Lose 300 billion dollars by having them seized by your enemy.
>Kill all the males 16-60 in the LNR and DPR, the people you were supposed to protect.
>Failed in all the initial objectives miserably
>Failed in the geostrategic objectives of not lengthening NATO's borders with Russia.
>Loses their pride of the fleet to a nation with NO NAVY.
>STILL can't SEAD.
>Lose your elite VDV soldiers.
>Lose your elite Guards units.
>Lose your officers at a rate higher than WW2.
>Get bombed regularly within your own borders.
>Has guaranteed another hostile neighbor against them for at least sixty years.
>Lose 500,000 of your most educated young people who will never ever return to Russia when you are facing a demographic collapse.
>Russia's enemies have basically given Ukraine an infinite ammo and money cheat.

When will they admit they have failed and sue for peace?

It's literal Russian propaganda. That guy is on Instagram and he made a post recently showing Russian TV shows talking about him being a cannibal selling bone rings. They're fricking bizarre.

It's probably because the Russians can relate to it due to their own cannibal problem. It's been an utter bugger to get any information on this, but it must a fairly high number as cannibals have their prison blocks and a few got caught hunting people in St. Petersburg over the last decade.

As another anon already said, it was because of France. The frogs still have a tight grasp on their former colonies and exert its influence with impunity. When Libya tried uprooting the CFA franc with a Libyan backed currency, the frogs went into genocide mode and did everything to tear them down, from documentaries to straight up propaganda ran daily in the US to drum up support for intervention. The whole petrodollar conspiracy is due to the French fear mongering the American elite into thinking that having some random poor as dirt Africans no longer use a currency controlled by the French, that it would cause a domino effect much like the old Mccarthy era propaganda on communist

Its not on the table now but I think the ukes will go for crimea as soon as possible, and focus on it over all other fronts. Nobody actually cares about donbabwe and luganda, but crimea is the real deal, naval bases, industry and a big population that could integrate both into future russia and ukriane. Crimea is the endgame of this war... Once it falls the russians will have nothing left worth dying over and might as well sue for peace. And for ukes this is their one chance of getting that region back so they will not stop until it falls or they have 0 hope to win it back (unlikely)

The fight for crimea has to happen anyway, and it might end the war instantly, so why wait?

You meme, but potentially yes. A less revanchist government in Russia would mean more prosperity for everyone. They've been holding back their neighbors for years in order to maintain some semblance of the old soviet order. And they've set in motion events which have necessitated a global recession, because of the shortages the war in Ukraine has caused so quickly in the wake of Covid.

Russia botched up logistics and planning for the initial invasion, while Ukrainians performed far better than anyone expected. After that, Ukrainians having showed their will to fight, the western support started pouring in and that was it for Russia getting any kind of meaningful victory.

Their literally only shot was taking Kiev before the rest of the worlds starts intervening, and they fricked up. And now people are so utterly dsgusted by Russian’s shit, that they’re generally happy to oblige on shitting on them, despite Russian’s insistence to believe that an energy war can save them.

The war has become existential for Putin himself so there is no easy offramp at the moment. Russia is not an autocratic state as much as is commonly believed, Putin delegates, leads, and referees between the rival camps needed to keep the state running. In the last few years Putin was largely being sidelined to a rubber stamp role by the intelligence services, state economists, oligarchs, administrators, and regional governors - he was still respected but increasingly the people around him had begun to act independently.

If you recall to the few months leading up to the start of the war, the Kremlin was already moving against the few remaining oligarchs and making ultimatums wherein their personal safety and wealth were contingent on moving in lockstep with the state. Then there was that surreal televised announcement of the decision for the 'SMO' where Putin publicly cucked his intelligence services and made them sign onto the operation so they couldn't keep clean either. Now as the MoD flounders because it simply was not ready for this war and was given no clear objectives Putin is even balancing support for his OWN state military with quasi-legal private alternatives like the Kadyrovites and Wagner to try to stay in control while avoiding blame. Putin has tried to leave the objectives vague and has the state propaganda constantly shifting narratives from NATO expansion to Nazis to civilizational warfare all to give himself options but even still he has little to show for all of this, any outcome now will make him look weak - and consider that he has no clear successor nor way to guarantee his own safety if removed.

      >Putin delegates, leads, and referees between the rival camps
That's how every since dictatorship has operated, and there is no way around that. A despot's grip and be stronger or weaker, but just like in a major corporation, no one can rule alone. The organization is too big, so you must delegate command, and with it - some measure of control.

Assuming it's not just idiocy compounded by more idiocy in not backing down from the first idiocy, a lot of Chinese manufacturing, especially in things like concrete and steel, have been heavily subsidized since '08 and are overproducing relative to demand. However, since it'd look really bad if the government stopped and then all those factories went out of business it's been eating into government finances with no real off ramp. The zero covid policies provide an off ramp that is palatable to the government and allows for an easy crackdown on discontent. Your factory didn't shut down and lay off everyone because the government pulled its subsidies, the government had to shut down the factory to stop covid and how dare you get angry at the government for keeping the public healthy.

I recall a pretty major part of the Chernobyl accident (having read some of the book, need to get back into it tbh) being the Soviet Government (aka Russia)'s refusal to do literally anything except ass covering the moment anything came out as being wrong.

Like, to the point that even when the fricking Ukrainian SSR's government was like "OK this is seriously fricked up, we need to ask for help and evacuate the area" the Soviet government was like "BLYAT THERE IS NO ACCIDENT IT IS A MERE RADIATION LEAK" even when Soviet personnel were on the ground watching the graphite fires.

      Frick the Russians.

        Anonymous

That's not really anti-Ukrainian racism as much as simply an indication of how fricked the Soviet Union was. The Kyshtym disaster in the mainland Russia was just as poorly handled; the only reason it is virtually unknown in the west today is that Russia is gigantic and the entire disaster was contained to sparsely populated areas. But the ethnic Russians in these areas got fricking fried and Moscow couldn't care less. What you need to understand is that Russian government isn't racist, it's severely classist. And not just against its colony territories, but against everything outside downtown Moscow. A "provincial" from Belgorod or Kharkov or Odessa or Astana or Minsk basically looks the same to an average upper-class Moscovite - the only people for which this system was built.

That's when Vatniks say "Russia has no colonial guilt" don't realize that Russia colonized itself and she still holds her colonies.

          >Russian government isn't racist
It is, just not against Black folk. It's still heavily racist against blacks.

(to clarify, blacks as in Africans are called Black folks (negry) in Russian without the connotations of "Black person". But a "black" (chornyi) means southern ethnicity like Georgian or Whatever-stani, and doescarry notes of "subhuman".)

      >And they've set in motion events which have necessitated a global recession,
The economic downturn caused by the ballooned inflation was directly induced by the coof hysterics. You know the ones who were demanding everybody not wearing cuck muzzles (that did nothing) be fired and imprisoned with all their assets seized? The ones who hysterically tried to weld in the economy in a stand still while throwing helicopter money out of the window? A little below that post, there's a post about Israel threatening to bomb Beirut international airport for allegedly bringing in weapons. Memes aside though. We are openly talking in the west about crushing economically and possibly dividing a state which has a lot of nukes. This is really nothing trivial. I respect that the Ukranians wanted western prosperity but was it really worth it for anyone with this shit that's going on.

I'm not talking from the Ukranian point of view, they're doing the only right thing now that it's gone off. It's just Russia has made it clear for a long time, no matter what we think about it, that integration of Ukraine into western institutions is an absolute red line. and that they will ape out if we try and go through with it. We can think that's unfair and paranoid all we want, but ultimately we should have backed off in my opinion. I don't think this is going to end well for anyone.

          >we try and go through with it.
          >we
Western Institutions are voluntary, it is Ukraine’s choice to integrate with our system, not ours or Russia’s.
Russia made threats to Ukraine and Ukraine chose not to cow to those threats, as is her prerogative, and it is the prerogative of the rest of the world to support her.
This war is as nekul’turnyy as a US bombardment of Venezuela would be, but perhaps moreso because American precision would allow military victory in the invasion phase and they wouldn’t have to resort to terror bombing in petulance as they are inexorably pushed back into the sea by the Venezuelan military.

                >Why are they begging in the entire world for equipment
Because they're a small country going up against a much bigger country?
                >and receiving less and less with every gibs?
Are you acting like tens or hundreds of thousands of generators are a small amount of things to send them from every country that supports them? That just happened. What about winter gear from Germany and many other countries? That's also very recent. What about them just being authorized for more advanced missile systems from the US?

I don't understand how you view Ukraine constantly asking for more weapons and materials they need as some sort of negative. They literally had a war randomly dropped on them and they didn't have much. This would be like if Russia attacked Finland and you asking why everyone keeps sending Finland a bunch of weapons as they ask for more.

Somehow in their headcanon Ukraine got promoted to a peer power compared to Russia and that despite Russia's much larger population it is very dishonorabru for Ukraine to ask for popular foreign support instead of having a fair and honourable 1v1 duel against Russia.

Yeh that had a failed hi risk hi profit plan at the very first days.

When they have a killzone where they can bomb the shit out of UAF they are in on track.
When they finally have killed enough soldiers... everything sacred dies with them.

I have seen a couple videos of Ukrainian units making declarations of being undergunned, bad equipped, decimated en large and saying they wont comply to the given orders... 3 or vids.. but whatever, everything happens in war.

Russia's excess deaths for 2022 give us an estimation of 90,000 dead. If DPR casualty rates are anything to go by, 4:1 WIA-to-KIA, Russia has taken approximately 450,000 total casualties. Seems like they're projecting.
