I have a p22, SR22 and a TX22 competition.
I like the P22 as a small gun, but plinking with the TX22 with a red dot and can on it is sublime. 17 round magazines are a huge step up as well.
I've heard good things about the Grand Power and might get one soon but it's kinda hard to justify a 10 round single stack magazine in a full sized gun in this day and age
hey, the tx22 is a cool gun if only for the fact they nailed the double stack compact .22 magazine. it's just everything around it seems to be mediocre, I'd love for grand power to make a frame that fits the mag or their own knockoff assuming it's not patented
The TX22 is a cheap piece of shit, I owned one and the bore was not concentric with the barrel causing extreme amounts of leas buildup at the end of the barrel and inaccuracy
I'm glad people got good ones and are happy with it but why gamble on a gun made in a third world country when there's a better option made by Europeans.

I must have lucked out twice because I've had one P22 explode due to bad ammo, and still have another and the only thing I can do to make them not run is let them get extremely dirty (like 500+ rounds). and they have eaten everything except subsonics successfully.
I got an H&R 999, the OG one from the 40s, and it is okay. Weirdly chintzy like most budget guns if the era but its pretty fun. Kind of hate how expensive they're getting given even at their best they should be like 350 dollar fun guns for kids.

There is a solution to both these issues, you can buy the CP22 which is a compact model and you can get 17 round extension from magloadUK.
