I remember this video amounted to them driving out and flooring part of a 6x10 hallway over the course of a day. I don't blame the video side for not being brutally honest about the trades. HGTV has been this way forever. I can't expect youtube to be different.
The other thread with this one is more grating. https://youtu.be/t-QGpw805-I
"I just finished my house." " I finished the plumbing." Then every other cut is "we did x" "we used this thing called a biscuit joiner." 13 minutes of b-roll and 19 seconds of building footage.
I don't doubt for a second that these recent high school graduates are better than most of us in every aspect of the trades. They're so attractive as well. I just want the cinematography and fluff to be more diluted. I would have expected this aesthetic to have snapped back after the previous decade.
watch Perkins Builder Brothers, their full-house-build series are terrific, very informative and entertaining, and they dont take themselves too seriously at all, none of the houses they make are especially high end.
lately a lot of agencies have taken to using anime as a springboard to sell gravure photobooks. Probably all of those women have calendars of them spreading their buttholes and that is the product they are directing you towards.
It seems like it
