Wait your prototypes print successfully? I have to prototype the prototypes since cura fricking hates me and won't save my settings if I have multiple STLs open
Also generate then save your g-code each time and your work is thus saved. Named folders containing readmes are handy for keeping track of the settings.
if you do big projects, you can go through 1kg or more easily. if you do tiny minature objects w/ low infill, it will take a while to go through 1kg.
t. just did a big prop gun and ran through 1kg in a few days
It's about 1kg
It's about tree-fiddy
It's about 2.2 lbs. Why do you consider that "a lot" and relative to what?
A pc case
My PC case standard is ENIAC.
But it will be a hot pc case, prone to breaking and presumably destroying overly expensive components in relation to their de facto use case.
I don't think it's supposed to go up your rectum, Tim.
It's only 800cc of PLA, anon.
If you're and idiot like me and you make at least 10 prototypes for each project it goes fast

Use a different slicer. You're not limited to one.

Instead of infill, consider making cavities into which you can slip pieces of wood to add rigidity and mass.
What's heavier, 1 kg of filament or 1 kg of feathers?
both
the filament because the spool adds to the weight
Not if you're buying in chink land
>buy 1kg of sunpla
>860g of actual filament
For you
so expensive too
Its roughly $10 around here for PLA+ I think. I don't consider that too bad.
what company sells 10$ filament? It's usually for around 20$
Chink incorporated
The Slant 3D bro swears they're going to start selling $10 filament but I think inflation is going to make it impossible to deliver on that promise.
I never make through a whole spool before it goes bad.
2 roll of 500g is lighter
Its not a lot if you print 1kg solid blocks
