addicting gameplay combined with basically no way to win the game by yourself. people lose because, to them, the turret of an abrams is 20mm too thin and lose their minds.
war thunder players are the biggest losers holy shit.
they seethe because tier balance is shit but rather than scream into the void knowing gaijin won't touch tier matchups in their favor they instead autistically screech about 'muh accurate models'
nah it's a fundamental part of the game. it's like league. 1v9ing is built in and they artificially increase the price of losing to make people even more salty.
you get the same morons in dcs but they're not as bad.
That's why I've stopped doing anything past tier V. I miss my M60 but I've actually been having fun dunking on dudes with the M3 GMC. I haven't had this much fun in years.
Honestly just avoud 9.0/10.0 since it's premium tier.
All other tiers including top-tier are fun in their own way, it's actually amazing how low, mid and top-tier are almost completely different gameplays.
if we get accurate models, the game would be even more unplayable than now and the last tier will just be NATO wank with Soviets only having their BMP and ATGM line to brag about.
Because it turns out that the same weirdos aiming for a military career in the most peaceful time in human history, are also the same kind of autismos that obsess over video games and lack the common sense not to post classified shit online.
So you repeatedly have this happen.
>it's not a stealth figher
I figured that was the case because of how the two engines are left partially naked unlike what you can find on the F22 which tries to cover up those holes in the rear. Speaking of which, why do Russian fighters have partially exposed engines? It ruins the look to me.
The Russians probably don't have all the fancy paints and materials necessary to make a proper stealth fighter.
And if so, why bother even trying? Just leave the engines open for cooling.

t. looked at the tech trees and how long it would take to even get one WW2 tank (let alone max it out) and decided not to fricking bother
I implore you, and anyone else with access to classified military documents, that getting your favorite vehicle buffed in Warthunder isn't worth getting fricking court martialed over.
I wouldn't recommend that either, that's probably also illegal but I'm not entirely certain, or at least as certain in comparison to leaking actual classified documents.
It's one of those things that you'd have to get charged and go to court over. The danger would be accidentally including some legit classified material in your "leak" (and you won't know what's actually classified so if you crib a legit document or imitate one you've seen you might accidentally include some info). Or perhaps accidentally using a real classified code name for a project by accident, These are things that don't matter if you or I talk about them publicly but provoking the government by tying them into a fake classified document (that they will have to check for veracity) is not a good idea.
Realistically though the courts won't try because charging you over it will involve confirming or denying a million different things. The only morons who would fall for it would be people who play war thunder and that is so funny it makes my sides hurt.
Wasn't the DTC already in use by that time?
I remember someone saying that shell was still a prototype being tested, but idk.
I forget, but it was a legit leak and people claiming to be ex tankers were saying it was shit performance.

I remember someone saying that the guy who leaked was just someone who lived near a PLA testing ground and he was taking the used darts and sell them on Weibo as "art pieces".
100%, that's fricking hilarious. Someone should do that with DCS too, make up a fake document about some bullshit like the AMRAAM having an extra 40% performance and post it to muddy the waters.
The current Reddit position is that every single example of these “leaks” is extremely damaging classified information and it’s crazy that people are doing this.
My understanding is that almost everything “leaked” is google searchable and we’re splitting hairs with technicalities though, like some HAM radio regulations autism.
ITAR/for official use only stuff is the sort of thing that companies like Gaijin or Eagle Dynamics have to treat extremely seriously if they want to operate in the US, and people with clearances have to treat seriously if they want to not be imprisoned, but literally nobody else cares about. There have been open source documents about the F-16 floating around for decades and nobody who doesn't have a clearance gives a shit.
The Challenger leak was real though although it wasn't that special. Any Challenger tank commander would have access to the same material so it's very likely it was leaked years ago. It being in the public domain is a bit different though because before only the Russians might have had access to it, now every country does.
The Chinese ammo leak was also pretty bad only because it confirmed that Chinese tankers are issued and use shit ammo. Like Desert Storm T-72s-pinging-off-Abrams-at-1000m tier.
Are any of these leaks legitimately damaging? We’re on leak 6 or 7 now right?
Is this another case of something that’s publicly available but the specific document posted isn’t technically cleared for public release (they almost never are).

How does one game put so many militaries into a seething rage for misrepresenting their weapons and vehicles?

>not just playing the M48 for maximum fun
It's unironically better than the M60 and literally getting lowered in BR next patch too, NGMI.
if we get accurate models, the game would be even more unplayable than now and the last tier will just be NATO wank with Soviets only having their BMP and ATGM line to brag about.

What was posted? MiG-29 manual?
some whitepapers about the su-57. nothing actually classified afaik, just confirms what everyone already knew: it's not a stealth fighter lol

The chief designer fled west before completing the blueprint.
the engines are probably exposed for cooling/some moron wanted looks over function

German Mig-29 manual and something about the Su-57 RCS.
Link?
Is the playerbase of war thunder literally just seething boomers/POGs with access to classified documents?
Pretty much, never met anyone under 18 playing that game.
WarThunder gameplay is too slow paced for ADHD ridden zoomers, even on top-tier.

You can reach 4.0 in a day if you play well, even without premium.
Problem is 6.0 and beyond.
I really like how it goes from taking a day or two off to unlock all the parts of a tank to taking a week just to unlock the fire extinguishers.
That changed, at least parts and FPE you can take it within the first hour since they're far cheaper than the rest of the modules.
Huh, thank frick. I might have to start climbing up the Germ tier again if my masochism gets the better of me.
I'm at 6.3 germany right now, pretty fun tier with the M41 and JPZ.
Difficult to say just with two prototypes
Someone post the translated document.
Why is it so hard not to leak classified documents on WarThunder?
Anything to help with the endless grind man

but its ok to forge classified military documents to get your favorite vehicle buffed, right?

Nope, but for insecure regimes like russia, they perceive everything not officially released as hurtful

>Challenger leak
>Leclerc leak
>Tiger(Helicopter) leak
>Chinese APFSDS leak
>F-16 leak
>F-15 leak
>now Mig-29 and Su-57 leak
I think there's one more.
>Su 57 and J20 leak within the same month
Gaijin has to be a CIA front, there's no other explanation
J-20 was leaked? When?
